We noticed the museum as it’s right by Charles Bridge. It caught our attention so we decided to go in and see what it was about. It’s pretty simple, spread over 3 floors. It’s not particularly interactive. Lots of medieval torture implements on display and...More

I liked the location of the museum, is few walking minutes from the Astronomical clock. It takes 20 minutes to see the complete artifacts but it took me longer because I like to be on the details. If you want to have a more thrilling...More

I found it pretty interesting to see all the different instruments and read about the cruel torture that took place, hard to imagine things like that actually happened 😱 A bit warm in the building but it was over 30 degrees outside so.. No AC.

There are not 2 torture museums at the entrance to the Charles Bridge but people have started a separate link under 'Museum of Medieval Torture'' Something you either are interested in or not.

I fell into the tourist trap by purchasing 2 tickets for TORTURE & WAX (if real wax was used maybe it not bad lol) Anyway this is definitely a place of kids and the place is dark setting like a amusement park with extremely little...More

We had to choose between the chocolate museum, wax museum, and this torture museum. Skipping the chocolate museum was by itself a torture and we wanted to double our torture going here. But we were sorely disappointed. Perhaps this museum will go down as the...More

One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and
squares, and stone towers blend together with the
