At first we wanted to have only a pint, but then we ended up downstairs in the concert hall, where we really enjoyed the czech Simple Muffin gig! One of the best gigs I swear! The staff at the bar wasn't the nicest though, but they were OK. Of course there are many things, how to make this place even... More

The Rock Café is one of the best places I have been to see live bands. I have been twice on two different visits to Prague. Its a great venue, great place to meet and socialize with people.

If you like live music then this is the best place to go in Prague. Every time I'm in the city I end up going here. Beer prices are standard for the city. You can get into the bar for free. There is a door charge for the music downstairs, but it's only normally a few quid (in British money).... More

This is a legendary venue which has always a good art exhibition at ground floor bar, where You can take a drink and chat with friends. - Underground there is a great music hall with a modern sound. - It could be loud there, take care of Your ears.)

Just a short visit in the Bar in the late afternoon. No complaints, good music, cheap drinks & nice athmosphere. Only locals present at that time.

Called in this weekend during the day for a drink. Due to the name of the brand we expected it to be highly priced and expensive but on receiving the bill discovered it was only about £2 a pint, the higher average for the city. The only downside was if you only want a drink, you have to have a... More

After reading the reviews on Tripadvisor, my boyfriend and I went here on a Saturday night. The bar is very basic without much atmosphere. We stayed for a couple of drinks and during the whole time there wasn't a single rock song planned, just pop. The drinks were cheap so it's not a bad place for a few drinks but... More

God place for people who likes to dance rock and roll, and also listen nice cover bands, the drinks are accessible price, the place is not too big so when all are rocking it's quiet complicated to move and swing but definitely you will have fun

Rock Cafe, cool place with lots of events going on all the time. I love how often they have different concerts etc. They have cheap beer, although I wish they didn't serve it in plastic cups. Pretty respectable selection of good run. Fun place.

Thank BaAnHa

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
