We visited at the wrong time of year (October). The outside beds had already had their plants removed and a whole lot of holes remained. The greenhouse is a good place to visit on a cold day. There are many specimens to see as well as, caged and noisy parrots. These add to the ambience, but not too convinced on... More

This was an unexpected highlight of our stay in Prague. The gardens are well kept, interesting, beautiful, and quirky. Just make sure you enter it properly, as we walked around it's periphery for awhile before we realised we weren't actually inside the gardens! Highly recommended.

There is a beautiful view of the city and well hidden winery with excellent wines (especially for sweet tooth king). I recommend to chose wisely when you visit the garden (on website is a precise list which flowers are blooming which part of they year). Overall is a beauty to see and I would recomned for picnic with family.

Staying at one of the camping sites at Trojska (mini campings, we enjoyed camp Fremunt!) we visited the near by botanical garden and the fata morgana next to it. I have never seen a lare area like this where everything was perfectly organised. The gardens were beautiful and represented the origine very well, you felt like you were in Japan... More

This location you must see. Organize one day for ZOO and this. Also dont go on Monday, because then Fata Morgana (part of the botanical garden) is closed and that is must see. The entire location is beautiful, peaceful.

The botanical garden is beautiful for a day trip a little outside the city centre. It is located right next to the ZOO but doing both in one day is too much as they are both quite large. You can stroll through the gardens and enjoy the local wine produce at St.Klara's vineyard and definitely don't miss the Fata Morgana... More

A lovely place to stroll through while admiring not only the plants but also splendid views of the city below. I would recommend accessing the garden from the top end (the north entrance)and walking down. There are plenty of benches and also net hammocks on the way to rest on, there are some interesting statues, a viewing tower on the... More

The botanic garden in Sparta is worth a visit a sunny day to see the gardens but also the sights of Prague, the Vinery (not to be missed) and just relax and enjoy some time away from all hustle.
