Really nice and impressive. Nice architecture too. There were too many people but we still enjoyed ourselves.

Like all gothic architecture this tower looks so fantastic! And you always see it so suddenly, although it is so big...

Go around sunset to see the sun set toward the side of the castle. The climb up is not bad, takes 30 seconds.

Guys, I re-visited this place in mid-May 2017. The building is nice but very black and dirty. There is also much garbage thrown around it. Simce downtown Prague is pretty crowded you might find it hard to walk around the tower because of traffic. Still...More

This is one of the original city gates. We did not go inside, but just admired it from the outside. I would add it to your itinerary as you stroll around Prague. Take some pictures and then move on.

There are a fair few towers in Prague and you will find this one in the old town. We saw it from afar and took photos like you do however another time we found ourselves close to the building so took a closer look. So...More

For a quite reasonable entrance fee this is a great place to spend an hour or so. As mentioned in previous reviews, up to first level is free, fee comes in if you want to climb the steps to the top of the tower and...More

Externally it is an interesting monument, but the inside is empty, and the view from the top was not that impressive (You can get a better view of the city from the top of the Lookout Tower, in Petrin Park). The worst part was the...More

square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and
squares, and stone towers blend together with the

No it's on the first level, up a spiral staircase and quite tight for space. Hope this helps.

Tickets are easily bought at the base of the tower. No worries. Only go up if you have a clear day with great visibility.
