About 160 steps. The first 30 to the ticket office are the worst. It’s certainly tight in the staircase & difficult to pass anyone going the opposite direction. Nice stained glass on the 2nd floor. Good view at the top but not spectacular. We got...More

The Powder Tower was located at the rear of my hotel, so really convenient to visit. I went inside at 10am when its opened as it tended to be less busy. There are no lifts and very narrow steps, so if you are going up...More

Another landmark that is charming as you walk through the streets - captures the character of Prague of early days.

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and
squares, and stone towers blend together with the

Tickets are easily bought at the base of the tower. No worries. Only go up if you have a clear day with great visibility.
