So peaceful and the Cemetery was very interesting. Great views of the city from a different perspective.

I was walking by the river and just a walk from the infamous dancing house of Prague I found signs of the church, first you go up a lot of steps as if you're climbing up the hill and you'll absolutely find a stunning view from up there. Second you'll get into the church and its cemetery, great architecture too.

Beautifully overwhelming. Super intense, meditative atmosphere. The best and probably only thing I can say about this is that I cried. Why would someone cry here? Even I don't know... I just felt as though a part of me was being cleansed. It just put me in a deep mood of wonder and quietness.

This was a pretty area to walk around, and it was much less crowded than usual in Prague. I wouldn't call it a must do, but if you have a few hours or just want some peace, I recommend it.

Vysehrad is one of my favorite places in Prague. I am there almost every week for a walk or a beer. It's bit far from the main sights and this is its chart, because there not so many tourists there :). Just walk along the wall and see Prague from a different angle. If you are not sure where to... Beautiful place. We went on Sunday morning and there were hardly any other people. Tiny, cobbled road lead us through two gates to a beautiful park. We could walk around and see all of Prague. If you prefer outdoors then this place is so much better than overcrowded Hradcany castle. No queue to get in..

Less popular castle, less crowds, but so worth it to see. Plan for a half day, since it's quite hilly area and you don't want to rush. Offers stunning views!!!

We walked from the Old Town to Vysehrad although many guides tell you to use the public transport service. Google Maps or Mapy guides you and you get to see more of the amazing facades in Prague. There were several restaurants in the street right below the entrance. We started our way up the hill through an arched entrance. The... More

The Vyšehrad cemetery gives a great overview of Czech culture. The monuments range from the whimsical to morbid, with a lot of art nouveau thrown in. The Rotunda of St. Martin from the 11th century is worth a quick look. The oldest romanesque buildings in Prague are located in the park.
