One of the symbols of Prague, the Church of the Virgin Mary Before Tyn is the dominant feature in the Old Town. The church was built in the 14th century and used to be a primary place of worship for foreign merchants visiting the city.

The entrance to this Cathedral is hidden away but worth finding. I don't think I've seen as many chapels and altars in a cathedral before. No photography sadly.

Stunning building during the day and even better at night with the windows shining and the building lit up. Photo opportunity!

This was an odd church, the entrance took a while to find as the houses in front have been built onto the church, which seems bizarre. Outside it is spectacular to look at with the iconic spires. Worth a look in if you have time...More

Beautiful church in the Old Town Square area but the entrance is difficult to find. We walked around the entire outside of the church twice before finding the entrance-through a little ticket office on the side of the church.

the spires are great to see at night and well lit, the foreground of the other buildings is weird but still does not take away from it's majesty

You can find this striking building on the other side of the old town square to the famous clock. The black turrets are castle like and its not until you follow the eye line down that it becomes apparent that this is a church. Then...More

The church is striking from the outside. It overlooks Old Town Square. It'll be one of the first things that catches your eye as you walk towards Old Town Square. To get to the church, you can walk through the archway at the eastern edge...More

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and
squares, and stone towers blend together with the
