As a park, it's not out of the ordinary. It's really commonplace, but the view of the city seen from several points in the park is exceptional!

On my way to visit Sparta Praha, I came across this huge park. It is a wonderful place to do some jogging and for the kids to run and play. The park has several toys available for youn children and teens. It is worth a visit. There is no entrance fee.

Amazing beer and view, perfect after a day walking through Prague, the place is really enjoyable and locals sit there just like tourists do to admire the view over Prague.

The large park of Letna is on a bluff overlooking the Vltava, with striking views of the river and the Old Town. There was once a huge statue of Stalin here, but this was taken down, and a large metronome put in its place, symbolising that all things pass. There are currently archaeological investigations here showing that there was a forced labour camp in the Communist period containing people who were forced to build the Stalin monument.

Letna park is known for the amazing views of the river Vltava and all the bridges down below.
No matter what the season the views are spectacular every time. The area where the Metronome is, is run down and the least favorite part of the park.

The Hanavsky Pavilon makes a nice stop for lunch or coffee. the Beer Garden is a popular spot in the summer.

If you find yourself in the Castle area , as most tourists do, and want or need a little respite from the hustle and bustle, head to the Letna Park.
Or from the Old Town, crossing a bridge. But the climb up the hill is a bit more strenuous. Mostly for the young and athletic among us ...

Anyway, whichever way you get there , I am sure you will enjoy the spectacular views of the river with the bridges down below. Worth the trip, in my opinion .

Look for the Hanavsky Pavilon restaurant, the best views are from there.
Their terrace offer refreshments ...

Though it is not as storied as Petrin Park, without the fabulous meandering walkways through the trees, this park offers some amazing views of Prague. The park is fairly flat, sitting atop the hill, and makes for a nice walk. There are plenty of benches as well, and the random ice cream vendors if your are in need of something cold and tasty. I would certainly recommend a picnic too.

I can say that this place is truly beautiful even in the winter. What got me the most was the size of the park.

We’re staying at Holesovice and can walk to the centre and the castle through the park. If you’ve got children with you there’s lots of space to run around and play areas. Great views all along the route
