A happy coincidence during our visit to Prague were a series of concerts given by the Czech National String quartet with organ in this haunting but visually outstanding church. Venue was used for the filming of the movie Amadeus. The combination of the venue and...More

We just popped our heads into this church as it was hosting a concert. It is very beautiful, but as the railings were tightly shut we were unable to walk around, which was a pity

Very ornate and makes you wonder how it was ever built or more importantly how it survived the dark times in this country. Well worth a visit though watch the opening times as it closes between noon and 3pm.

We stumbled upon this beautiful church and thought it was very beautiful. It’s not as busy or high profile as some other churches, but a lovely place to visit and not very far from old town square.

The church is nice - nothing unique or outstanding. We went there to attend one of the concerts (that are geared for tourists) because I like organ music. The concert was nice - I knew what the program was and what type of concert it...More

This is a fantastic baroque style church which is well maintained. It is nothing to look at from the outside and I would have missed it had they not been advertising an afternoon classical music recital. This included a four piece string quarter and an...More

I visited this lovely baroque church for a concert this week. On the menu was the usual mix of Vivaldi etc, which the musicians must wish they could very with more unusual repertoire. Sadly this would be commercial suicide. Nevertheless, the string quartet were superb...More

Was here in March. Came back again in Dec. Caught the little string quartet this time. For about $20 or 25 don't miss it. You'll regret it like I did. Nice ensemble of numbers that also includes some organ solos and a singer whose Ave...More

One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
