The Klementium is not a good use of your time or money. You can only enter via a guided tour, and while they warn you in advance that photos are not allowed in the Library, they DONT tell you that you only get to peek...More

Lovely tour guide, who was good fun and informative. There are three stops on the tour: the library (you can't walk around, just look from a platform just inside the door but it is lovely); the meridian room (very small room with some scientific instruments);...More

A library in an old mediaeval city where Kepler studied containing books from as early as the 1500s? If you are a nerd then yes, yes you do it. The climb to the top of the Astronomical Tower is good too though the descent is...More

The guided tour was well planned and organised. Really appreciated the exclusive access to the library and breathtaking views from the astronomical clock tower. Highly recommended!

When in Prague don't miss a visit to Klementinum. The tour will take you to the most amazing baroque library (sadly, just a peek through the door and no photos allowed), through to the Meridian room and finish in the astronomical tower where you will...More

The library itself is small and exposition is rather modest. The windows, through which you can see the collection of books, is rather narrow. You can not enter the room with books unless you have preordered a visit and prepaid it. The bad thing is...More

The library and the chapel are beautiful, but you can only see them from narrow doorways. If there are more than a few people on your tour, this means you only get a brief peek while jammed against other visitors. You have to take the...More
