This country has a dark period in its history. The communism was full of paranoia, spying and violence. On this tour You can discover the background and stories from the communist time and experience how life was in Czechoslovakia during the communism and in the cold war period. With all the fear and all the consequences of a nuclear war, of course. Visit a real nuclear bunker from the 1950s which is hidden almost 4 floors deep with cold war time expositions.LOOK BEHIND THE IRON CURTAIN !

This tour will give you a great overview of the history of Prague, the Communist background, the hardship the country has seen. My husband and I thoroughly recommend the tour and humbling to see what the people went through to get where they are now.

Thank you, Ales (our guide)! People who expect fireworks and dazzle will be disappointed, because this is a short expedition into this country’s dark era. You will be told/explained how a democratically elected government transformed into a suffocating dictatorship. You will be able to understand...More

I had been undecided before our trip to Prague as to whether I wanted to do this tour, but I'm very glad we did. The whole tour was fascinating and our tour guide Katerina was very knowledgeable. Well worth a visit.
