The area
Neighbourhood: Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

Located just off Charles Bridge, Old Town of Prague is St Salvator Church.
This is a wonderful looking church constructed between 1578-1601 and built from designs from architect's Carl Lurago, Francesco Caratti and Frantisek Maxmilian Kanka and is a great example of Baroque style architecture, its one of several really impressive churches in Prague Old Town and is most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area near Charles Bridge.

St. Salvator Church was built between 1578 and 1601 and of Baroque architecture. The structure is very symetrical and looksd great at night when we visited.

It is situated close to Charles Bridge and the entrance to the Old Town.

The interior houses two magnificent organs and hosts classical concerts throughout the year.

The wonderful Old Town is a great place to visit ,walking into the Old Town through the Old Town Bridge Tower you are confronted with two churches ,Church Of Francis Of Assisi and this church.
St Salvator Church was constructed between 1578-1601 ,a great examples of Baroque architecture but strangely enough when it was originally constructed it was designed in the Gothic style of architecture ,it's a beautiful church to view ,just off Charles Bridge ,it's most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

We discovered that concerts were offered at the St. Salvatore - The Main Church - Clementinum…and what an absolute delightful experience it was. Six members of the Royal Czech Orchestra, along with Marie Fajtova from The National Theatre performed a number of stunning pieces along with Robert Hugo’s pipe organ selections. If you enjoy performances of classical music, we truly recommend this experience.

Prague is justifiable famous for it's amazing churches ,one that I always love viewing is St Salvator Church .
Located in the Old Town ,it's not to far from Charles Bridge ,constructed between 1578-1601 ,it's a beautiful Baroque church ,over the years esteemed architects Carlo Lurago,Francesco Carratti and frantisek Kanka worked on the church ,we passed the church early hours in the morning as we were pub hopping around this part of town ,it looked so beautiful,I took a few photos before moving on to a pub,it's easy to locate along Salvatorsky ,most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

We purchased tickets despite reviews for visiting Prague discouraging this tourist attraction.

We are so pleased we did as it was just beautiful, the church was breathtaking to listen to this classical concert, the acoustics were fabulous! The soprano sang Ave Maria which was extremely poignant for me as it was played at my grandmothers funeral 25 years ago.

Don’t be put off by reviews, it’s one hour and worth going for £20 ticket, we sat towards the back, not really worth being closer, the music to our ears was beautiful wherever you sat! An hour of our visit to Prague was a real treat to add to our few days visiting this beautiful city.

We purchased early bird tickets for a classical concert at the church on a Saturday evening, priced at about £15 each. Concert lasted for just over an hour.

Three soloists and four others string musicians, playing music written by Vivali< Beethoven, Mozart ansd many others.

Bench seats were not very comfortable but they were heated, on a cold evening.
