Tijo was fantastic! He was engaging and had plenty of humorous stories for explanations. The information he gave was short and concise which made the history of Prague more digestible for such a short period of time. Would recommend this tour!

My girlfriend and I took two of the tours on offer. The first was the free tour of Prague, with Brandon. The tour was around 3 hours long with a break in the middle for refreshments. Brandon was very knowledgeable, especially for someone who has only spent 2 years in Prague! The tour was full of laughs and had a... More

We did the free tour with Pavel and it was fabulous :) three hours full of history, fascinating stories and helpful information (how to NOT get ripped off in Prague). It was the perfect balance between information and time and it never felt like it was dragging on too long. Thank you, Pavel :) P.S.: the beef with cream sauce... More

Our guide Idaira made the tour excellent. Good amount of history mixed with urban legends, what to do in each area we walked through, and all the additional advice you can want. With her, a must do

We had a very nice and funny guide (Kristyna) who made the tour with personal stories very interesting. She could answer every question and we learned a lot about Prague and its history. We highly recommend the tour to everybody coming to Prague!

Really great tour! American David was ridiculously knowledgeable about the city and its history and was really engaging the entire time. It was a cold, rainy day and I didn't even mind and was thoroughly engrossed throughout the whole tour. Would highly recommend!

Our tour guide was Brandon - energetic, charming and lots of fun. Kept us all informed and engaged on the tour, giving us information on our surroundings and the history of Prague. The tour touched on the many different eras including some of the troubled times in the history of Prague and Brandon hit the right tone when talking of... More

This was one of the best walking tours I've been on! Our guide, Filip, was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, fun to listen to, and clearly passionate about the city. He also gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and sights and answered any questions we had. The tour gave us a great introduction to the city and really made... More

I did the Castle Walking Tour on 18th February. It was a cold day and things didn't exactly go to plan: The tram getting to the castle was packed solid, one member of the group got his wallet stolen, the queue to get into the castle was outrageously long and by 4pm all the cafes were closed. Oh and we... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
