The Park that surrounds the Metronome is delightful. However the steps up to the metronome are littered with rubbish and broken glass and graffitti everywhere, At the top there are some interesting boards to read. It also looks as if the local skate boarders have...More

The contraption is located on top of Letna Park in Prague. As the title says it's a huge metronome, but unfortunately it doesn't work so just the sight of the thing is what you will get. And the panoramic view is great too for a...More

Only go see this if you are going to the beer garden or Technical Museum as it is not working. Which is the whole point of a metronome. So it’s our 2nd non functioning item in Prague (after the astronomical clock)

Had read about this and as it was just a short walk from the National Technical Museum we decided to pop along – however it was static and we overheard a tour guide mention to his group that it had not been working for some...More

This is a perfect attraction for those interested in communist era landmarks. Even for those who aren't it offers a spectacular view over Prague if you reach it

I say to avoid with children for these reasons, The steep walk up is littered with broken glass, cigarette butts, empty bottles, litter. A disgrace to the local ‘ council’ in that they do not clean it up. Once you get to the top you...More

It's not about the metronome, it's about the view you get to the beautiful city of Prague. Totally worth it. Interesting to know that before the metronome it used to be a massive Stalin statue, the biggest one during communist occupation.

Ok so if the city and its citizens actually wanted to look after it and keep its surrounding areas clean and well looked after, it would be amazing. Sadly, it is not. The only thing going for this area is the views of the city...More

We spend two nights there,it has a great view of the city and at the weekend it’s a nice place to hear some good music and have your drink. The music is for free! it’s literally open air and you can enjoy your time just...More

Nothing to see, nothing to do ... the view from there is not that good, there are better places (just walk a bit). Behind the Metronome there is something like a skate park, if you are interested on that. The place once held the statue...More

Your experience in Prague will never be complete if
you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched
from the west to the north, provide spectacular views
of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone
streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green
gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses.
Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history.
Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the
