Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Brighter building facing the square and church. Looks like a classic old town house from a few hundred years ago but stand out

Beautiful outside but there is not much to see inside the building. There is a scale model of the town of Pilsen.

A stunning building we stumbled across in Pilsen in the man in square (Republic Square). It reminded me of something out of George Orwell's book 1984, it being a dark building and a guard outside.
In a great location too, facing St. Bartholomew's Cathedral.

The main square in Pilsen is just beautiful. However, the Town Hall is just amazing. The designs and details on the outside are just wonderful. A great place to stop and visit.

In 1496 the largest building in the city was converted into a Town Hall. The Town Hall was damaged by a large fire in 1507 and later rebuilt by an Italian master-builder Giovanni de Statia in Renaissance style. Today it is a very impressive three storey building. It is tastefully decorated with Neo Renaissance sgraffiti from the early 20th century.

Renaissance Town Hall is a building located in the Republic Square of Plzen, the biggest city it the West part of Czech Republic. It has a very beautiful façade, which you can not stop watching, really it is impressive. A very good building to see, when you come to the main square.

Has to be seen to be believed- an incredible amount of detail. Just the other side of the cathedral- and from the square itself it is easy to get to all of the main attractions.

Also, the ornate Plague Column in the square is just to one side.

When one is in Pilsen for a few days, tends to pass The Republic Plaza quite a few times a day! One of the most marvellous buildings there is the Renaissance Town Hall!
For you to have an idea of what I am talking about, here are some photos, taken during the night of that superb facade!
