About
If you want to learn everything there is to know about beer, come and visit the Brewery Museum in Pilsen. It is located in the Pilsen centre in a 15th-century building with an original license to brew beer, which breathes the atmosphere of the Middle Ages. The Museum tells the story of the production, serving and drinking of beer from antiquity to the present time. Visitors aged 18 and older can look forward to tasting Pilsner Urquell beer there. On your visit to the Brewery Museum, pop in the Na Parkanu taproom, with its unique atmosphere of the 1930s. Go back in time and enjoy remarkable unfiltered Pilsner Urquell beer.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An interesting museum, definitely worth a visit if you are in Pilsen. Plenty of exhibits, and a voucher for a free beer at the bar next door. An enjoyable experience.

I expected something more contemporary - some video shows, interactive items - it is simply an exposure, albeit a nice one.

Was in this brewery a couple of times and this place must to be seen if you more than one day in Pilsen. Beer from barrel it's something non ordinary. Also to see huge cans for beer production and"travel" by biggest in Czech lift add impression.

After Plzeňský Prazdroj, this one was not interesting. I don't say that this place is bad or so, but after visiting Plzeňský Prazdroj, this place was not interesting. I would call it even boring. Most of the information was repeated for me after the tour that I went for few moment ago. On the top of that, the tour at the museum is done by app in your phone that plays separate comments. Audio is narrated in slow pace so I was bored.
Most of the brewing procedure is illustrated by working figures. I would say that this place is suitable more for children or so.
The most interesting thing at the place was a video that was showing how wood barrels for beer are produced. This was done nicely and it was something new for me, as I haven't see a thing like this even at Plezeňský Prazdroj tour.

A splendid old building housing a terrific exhibition of brewing in Pilsen. Tour includes a beer and there are great souvenirs in the shop. Part of the old city wall is included. Thoroughly recommended!

So much more interesting and educational then the Pilsner Urquell Brewery tour. This place provides tons of background on brewing beer with a large number of artifacts. Everything in English also.

I thought the tour was excellent. The guide was very good and friendly and was able to answer all our questions. The factory floor itself was unbelievable in view of the fact that only 20 people work there. I especially enjoyed the underground tunnels. Very well worth a visit next time you are in Prague

The tour was very informative and came with a guide that you download to your mobile phone. It was a good place to start our visit to Plzen.
