Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The part of the building is construction place! The works have just started so I expect the place will not be worth of visit for next several months. This is not the issue only for this place - you can meet the same through the whole city. I only can recommend: Do not visit Carlsbad (karlovy Vary) at least this year!

Built about 100 years ago - although it does have a very modern look - and when you walk around is kind of difficult to imagine that it is really 100 years since it's building - for me it was the most intriguing of the colonnades in Karlovy Vary.
It is spectacular as the hot spring is shooting its hot water almost like a geyser up to like 10-12 meters ... also if you walk around you can find some very interesting details about the building of the colonnade and about the history of Karlovy Vary.
Entering is free of charge like to all the other colonnades - so for sure it is worth walking stopping for a few minutes - and if you want you can sample the mineral water - I didn't - but sip it carefully and don't drink a lot at time.
Overall a very nice place to stop and well worth checking it out.

Well, if you like these movies with the scenery and costumes of the 19th century, don't miss this place.
It is lovely.
The delicate colonnade, the small and exquisite park adjoining it, the greenery, flowers, sculpture ...
Everything there is beautiful and deserves definitely a long break to contemplate the surroundings and simply relax...
As usual I have attaches some pictures to share with you this peaceful moment...
Be there and enjoy

This is a place where everyone comes 3 times a day in the tourist zone to get some mineral water before meals. Each spring is numbered and has different temperature (different temperatures are used to treat different deceases). Everything is in very Check, old European architecture - but I'm not an expert on that.
A nice place.

All of the kolonades were within easy walking distance of one another, along the route known as the "Sprudel" (mineral water in German) tour. Many visitors purchase the little porcelain cups with built-in straws and use them to sample the mineral waters from the various springs along the sprudel tour route. Or you can just bring your own cup or water bottle. Check the temperatures of the various mineral springs! Some are very hot!

... travel during the corona-19 pandemic ... there are far too few toilets in the public space, the only toilet that is open to the public is not only more expensive than the tax ... but also dirty and unsanitary ....

Highlight is the tour of the underground source. Very informative about the whole history and culture base in KV.
Indoor on the ground floor the exposition is quiet vague but that is due to the brutalist architecture of the whole building

Staying next to Vřídelní we had a great opportunity not only to watch its power and breathe in its minerals but also to enjoy the thermal mineral spring water baths in our spa hotel balneo centre.

Beautiful kolonada on your walk along the river. The place is full of tourists also in the winter. Recomanded.

Which would be the best hot spring to relax in? Hopefully a nice setting and not crowded.... If it is part of a nice hotel, even better. WE would try to be there on a weekday in May.

Esistono piscine termali pubbliche dove poter accedere per un paio d'ore?
Written 28 October 2016
Hi I am not sure I understood your question correctly.
There are no public pools that I am aware of, there are several spa's that you can pay to use and some of the hotels you can pay t use the spa.
The colonnade does not have a pool only a place to fill up a cup with drinking water.
I would also check before paying to go in to a spa that the water in the spa is mineral water...
Hope this helps

If I bring along my own cup (a glass cup with handle ...I have a beer glass with a handle),
- firstly, is it allowed by the authorities to bring your own glass?
- I read that the water is so hot, the plastic glass is not good. Therefore, a cup made out of glass, ok?
Many thanks

Извините, но на этой страничке неверно названа колоннада. Эта колоннада называется Садовая, а не Vridelni.
