This National Park packs a punch despite its small size. We hired a car and drove out from Prague, arriving after a few hours. It was easy to find and available parking when we got there. I recommend getting there as early as possible as...More

Quiet tiring walk with children but the view is worth it. Don’t forget to carry water and snacks so that on the way they will be helpful.

We didn’t know if this was going to be worth the visit but were very pleasantly surprised. The hike up is gorgeous, and the views from this site are wonderful. Definitely worth a visit.

As natural monument it is very unique. You cannot get on the top, but it is still very impressive touch of nature. We used a route from Mezni Louka point and this (still very comfortable for everybody) walking bellow the sand formations is very nice...More

We stayed @ an airbnb in Decin the night before and traveled by rental car the 20 minute drive to the area. Parked about a mile away from the entrance (closest you can get) on the side of the road quite a ways outside of...More

We enjoyed hiking through Czech national park although it was slightly raining. The arch was stunning and having lunch in the restaurant which was preserved from an old castle was really nice, too.

The arch and views from the very top are quite stunning. We parked on the edge of town and walked along the road and up the red route path which is about 3,5 km in all. The top area is open 10.00 to 18.00 from...More

We enjoyed a great hike to Pravcicka brana. Wonderful views... stunning, really. Less wonderful was our experience at the Falcon's Nest. We got there about 5 minutes after closing, but the gate was open and we didn't notice it was closed... I mean, the place...More

I am hoping you could please assist me with some information. My husband and I will be visiting Czech Republic for 3 weeks, coming all the way from our home in South Africa :) We're very excited to see this beautiful country, and would like to experience the full day hiking trail recommended on Pravicka Brana website. Its the 15km hike: Hrensko - Tri prameny - Pravcicka brana (odbocka) - Mezni Louka - Nad soutěskami - Divoká soutěska - Tichá soutěska - Hřensko. But we will do this over 2 days, staying overnight in Mezni Louka at U Forta. Then hiking back to Hrensko. Is it possible for my husband and I to do this hike/trail alone? Are the pathways clearly marked and visible? I noticed on the website that from Mezni Louka, it comes to an area where there is a rocky gorge and one needs to travel over water. Are there boats available to use? Does this need to be booked? Can we manage this alone? We will be leaving our car overnight at the parking lot in Hrensko, is this possible and if so, are you able to tell me the overnight costs? I really appreciate all the help and information! I tried mailing the Pravicka Brana tourism but no response.
