Walking distance through the cobble stones in town. By the 6th day of drinking Pilsner I was not in the mood for more than one or two 500ml. Excellent service from the staff and... read more

This was the best brewery/restaurant we visited in our trip trough Czech Republic. After we finnished our tour trough the castle, we were recomended by our guide to go there, and try probably the best beer in the whole Czech Republic. The whole restaurant is located in ex-monastery and the enviroment is amazing, especially from the inside! We went there... More

On our last day in the town we went to the brewery to have dinner. It was super. Friendly stuff, fast service, great local beers, and delicious meals, for resonable price. Really recomended if u want to have a nice lunch or dinner in the oldtown.

If you are looking for real brewery with good beer and hearty food - this is the place! Visited two times in the place - the staff is very friendly, service is quick - and food is real czech food (pork, dumplings, sausages, sauerkraut). And what is good sign is that a lot of local people are visiting in this... More

We just left this place, and we're not impressed with the fact that one, the service was terrible and two, food was less than mediocre. We found this place in hopes of some great authentic craft beer, good atmosphere and a good meal. What we got was Beer with too much foam Terrible service And the meal was... "Mehh" We... More

The restaurant of the Eggenberg Beer factory is not far from the real center of the town, and you can eat fine czech meals and drink good beers for a lower price than in the city. Beer in the city costs 30 koronas, here it is 20. A guided tour across the factory is also possible.

We tasted two sausages and some other meat staff. They are not good. They are cooked with too much garlic. The beer is good.

The Brewery tour is closed and a rather angry lady at the gate doesn't understand why a long string of people are still visiting the gate. Closed for some weeks as the brewery is reconstructed. Yes, restaurant is still open, and you can by the beer in the shop local stores. The Brewery website needs updating as still says tours... More

I was sad that the brewery was closed but luckily I was still able to taste the famous smoked beer. The food was also traditional and really well priced. For a filling meal and half liter I paid 6-8 euro.
