One would hardly notice this significant little gate, named after salt, which has been transported from a nearby warehouse to the riverbank since the middle of the 16th century and then was loaded on ships and towed towards Prague.

This is a hidden trasure, known by local culnary experts. The interrior design is very conservative, however the menu overbeats it. good small hotel too.

As we wandered around Ceske Budejovice, I saw this passageway and found it so interesting that we made a detour through it, and then back. I didn't know it was a place of historical significance until now!

I am not sure why this town shows up on tourist recommendations. There really is nothing to do or see here
