Went kayaking on the reservoir yesterday. First time trying this activity and it was great! The staff are so friendly and organised. We were on the water within a few minutes of arrival! Does get very busy so would definitely recommend booking in advance. Finished...More

If you want a long walk in beautiful suroundings then Ardingly Reservoir is the place to walk. It will take a couple of hours to get completely around, but its worth it.

The viaduct is beautiful and is only a short walk through some fields from the reservoir. Worth visiting if you're in the area. The reservoir looks like it has some nice walks around it and has a cafe.

It's easy to do a walk that starts at the car park, passes the Gardeners Arms for lunch and returns on the other side of the reservoir, about 3.5 miles. There is usually some activity involving boats, and plenty of wildlife, so enjoyable in any...More

Hello no I am afraid you are unable to use your own canoe there. But if you go to the Anchor Inn at Barcombe there is a river there and you can use your canoe. There are also boats for hire.
