Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really beautifull sceneries. But they could have informed us up front that this "jeep"safari includes at least 4 hours of serious hiking. Fortunately this was for us not a big problem but if you are not that sportly or flexible in the limbs you could have a serious problem.
The "english"speaking guide was a disaster! It was just a kid of around 19, only interested in his phone, smoking constantly and telling absolutely nothing about anything. He just walked 20 metres in front of us.

Dear Guest,
thank you for your contribution with the review. Thethi valley and national park is really the heart of the Albanian Alps and worth to be visited before leaving Albania even if you have few time at disposal.
This tour is the response of such request, to organize a daytour with a private car 4WD, in order to ensure to all guests the visit at the main attractions in Thethi in one day. I understand that it might seem challenging to you but on hiking terms it is considered easy to moderate walking, 100 min round walk to Blue eye + 80 min to the Waterfall and Canyon.
About the guide, we as tour operators are locals from Thethi and we aim to engage local guides too. We ask you pardon about his attitude. We are trying constantly to train new local guides and during this year we had the availability of only two guides. Sometimes they really think that everybody should walk with their step.

Great falls worth the detour. 30mins from the village on rocky trail. (Better with good shoes). To reach it, stay on the left side of the river and hold your left. There is a little house/farm at the bottom of the aqueduct that channels part of the water from the fall. Follow the aqueduct up and take left at the Y. Climb 200 m and you reach it. All these details to tell you that nothing is marked and you need to guess your path. Water is ice cold and, for few, the swimsuit does not seem necessary.
The sunset on the fall is beautiful but do not stay too late as it gets dark quickly.
The best thing to see at Theth!

This is a must see place in Thethi, great hiking (low or mid range level of difficulty, even kids can do it), and you can swim in it. (if you can brave the crisp clear cold water. I did for 5 mins).

Nice and beautiful walk, on our way we met a snake. Noone at the top, so we could take a bath at 1°C cold water. Worth to go all the way to the top.

It took us about 45 min each way. We recommend taking the trail up after the red bridge. The water is freezing but worth going in even for a short dip!

We were in Theth during summer. We didn't go the the waterfall because the water was too low. Still it is nice to take a hike in the National Park to other places. I would recommend the hike to the Blue Eye, which is in the same area as the waterfall.

We walked up the track from Theth with our 5 year olds who loved it. Well marked for the most part takes you past the lock tower and some nice old houses along the way. 6 k return. Too cold for a swim but good for a toe dip! Beautiful walk and waterfall.

A small waterfall in a beautiful surrounding. Easy 40 min hike from Theth village following the marked trail along the river. There's a cafe nearby that was closed the day I went. Didn't have much water even though it had been raining the entire day.
