Tranquil spot to visit. Can swim there safely, and bbq's are also availble. If you look up, you will often see koalas in the trees. Only minus is there is not a lot of seating on the wharf.

It's a quiet part of the island that is popular for swimming and camping. You can usually see koalas in the trees by the road. We saw two of them so look up high and you probably see some.

Peaceful place. Beautiful water colours and pristine sand in the distance. Saw a Koala in a tree nearby. A highlight of our trip

The jetty at Amity Point gives many wonderful photo opportunities. Sunsets golden with pastel hues as the sunset sky morphs through delightful phases of light and colour. Visiting dolphins add to the delightful experience and fisher folk whist fully rue their catching opportunities. This jetty...More

Amity is probably my favourite part of Stradbroke island! Beautiful sunsets guaranteed and there’s generally always dolphins hanging around the jetty. I love the relaxed vibe the area has and hope it doesn’t change!

Spent a week at Amity Point caravan park, the jetty provided our kids 14,11,8 endless fun from fishing, jumping off the jetty and dolphin watching.

We camped at Minjerribah(Amity Point) Camp Ground over Easter and had great time. The jetty was only meters from our camp site so we were able to go many times during our stay. The water was very clear and you could see plenty of fishes...More

The water is crystal clear and there is a tiny patch of white sand beach to lie on. The swimming enclosure is great but no waves. No lifeguards. The jetty is good for fishing when no one swims around it.

Yes safe spot is there ... the sharks do not come close to the jetty where you see dolphins and you only get in to see them
