Coming from Euroa ...going towards Mansfield, you turn onto Maintongoon Road...go past Bonnie Doon storage and continue on...soon you will see a sign for Kennedys Point on your left. Follow the road... this road is a dirt road, but in good condition. There are toilets here as well, but very little else in the way of amenities. BUT what this location has got for it is serenity.
But that's what Bonnie Doon is famous for ... is it not? The serenity....in fact, you will even drive past The Castle Holiday Home to get here.
But let's just for a moment not focus on the serenity and focus on the magnificent view... it's really stunning. Lake Eildon is certainly somewhere special.
"Dale: Dad reckons fishing is 10% Brains and 95% muscle, the rest is just good luck"
But even if you are not coming here to fish... seriously you can lose yourself in it's quietude and the stunning vista. It's worth making a visit to the location.
