Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Was lucky enough to be staying very close to Blues Point Reserve.
Catch the ferry to McMahons Point or even better walk over the bridge and past Luna Park and visit Wendy's secret garden as you stroll around to the point.
Great views of the harbour with the Opera house and Bridge can't be beaten.
If you have time walk a little further to Sawmillers walk it is well worth the effort.

Blues Point Reserve is a terrific spot for a day out, or at least a couple of hours of carefree good time out! It's a good spot for a family with young children to play and a good area for a picnic. The views are wonderful of Sydney Harbour, the Opera House and much more. It's about ten to fifteen minutes walk from North Sydney train station. It's better to get the train, or a bus if you wish, rather than driving, as car parking is not really very easy to find.

Was recommended by a Local Sydney friend as the best place to view the Harbour bridge and Opera house and also best place for viewing the Fireworks on NYE. He was right ... it is the best! Interesting place at night with so many cars driving in just to sit and take in the view.

Small park set on the Harbour. Fantastic views of the sights that make Sydney. Some eatery options available a short walk up the road. Nice place to come and relax.

Anyone staying in Sydney should take the time to hop on the Ferry and disembark at McMahons Point for a wander through the reserve at Blues Point....you could pack a picnic if you felt inclined to relax, or at a minimum just head there for your bucket list photo opportunity that outdoes all the other typical travellers who don't make it past Circular Quay....walk back up blues point road to the many local cafes for a bite to eat or to just experience life on the North Shore.....it really is a pleasant way to kill a morning or afternoon if you are tired of being the CBD tourist......

This is a great spot away from the hustle & bustle of the Sydney city.
My husband & I walked from our accommodation in Blues Street Nth Sydney to Wendy's Whitleys Secret Garden after exploring the beautiful gardens we then walked on to Blues Point Reserve; this lovely grassed area we sat & took in the views of the city & the very busy harbour watching the ferries go this way & that!
It was a beautiful warm day so we thought instead of walking up the hill back to our accommodation we caught the bus service at the park.

If you are looking for a beautiful spot in Sydney for a picnic where the views are spectacular visit Blues Point. The park is beautiful and laps the waters edge. Parking is FREE for up to 4 hours or perhaps go by ferry to McMahons Point just next to the park which is also near Luna Park.
Views of the harbour, the Beidge, Opera House, Garden Island and much more.
I was in awe of the spot and amazed that I have never been here before yet I was born and bred in Sydney.

Blues Point Reserve actually means alot to me as i grew up in McMahan Point and i had many happy memories there. Beautiful views of the harbour and city, just a fantastic location, you can catch the ferry over to the city or to Luna Park and Milsons point. Make sure you visit there its just breath taking.
