Home grround for Haigh's
Jul. 2020
Adelaide is Haigh's home ground. Haigh's famous chocolates are made here. The chocolates are scrumptious, stock up on your favourite confectionary while you are here. Prices are reasonable.

Interesting and well organised visit
Mar. 2020
We visited Haigh's as part of our Adelaide City Tour. It was in treating and well organised tour led by a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide and covered current chocolate making and the history of Haigh's. The tour concludes with an opportunity to sample chocolate , which finishes in the obligatory shop, where you can part with some serious money on the vast range of chocolate available to purchase.

I love Haigh’s chocolates, they are the best. My favourite is their scorched almonds, but every thing is delicious. It can be very busy as tourist buses stop there, sometimes parking is a problem. But worth it.

Stopped here to kill some time and did the 10am tour. Was surprisingly very interesting and lovely to see the chocolates are really hand made and the sustainable cacao they use does somewhat justify the price. All the staff were very friendly and you even get some samples, well worth it if you have an hour to kill.

We are Chocoholics
Jan. 2020
Delighted that Haigh's was included in our Adelaide Sightseeing Tour. A warm welcome and factory visit to see delightful chocolate creations taking shape. Amazing to see the extent of hand crafting involved and then the machine treatments and quality control inspections. We enjoyed some samples as we entered the retail area. So much choice and surrounded by the aroma of chocolate. We purchased a selection for our upcoming cruise but temptation overcame us back at our hotel. A visit to Haigh's has to be a bucket lost item in Adelaide..

Book yourself on the factory tour before indulging yourself in the shop! Educational & sensory overload of the eyes and nose is what you are in for. Simply brilliant!

Yummy and interesting!
Nov. 2019
Great free tour (best to book ahead) lasts about 40 minutes, very interesting, some free samples (delicious!) and you get to see chocolates being made by hand as well as machines.
Then into the amazing shop where you can buy seconds (just as yummy , but not "perfect" so cheaper) and of course we bought lots of delicious chocolates for Christmas and to enjoy at home. A bit expensive but so special.
Now know what to look for at the Haigh's QVB shop in Sydney :)
Definitely recommend the tour and visit. Small parking lot on site.

Well worth a visit
Nov. 2019
We visited this amazing establishment today. We didn't realise we needed to book a tour but the friendly staff rustled up someone to show us around. The tour takes around 25minutes and we were fascinated to hear about how this family-owned business began and developed. It was obvious as we went around that the staff are really happy working here. Needless to say it was difficult to choose what to buy at the end of the tour as all the products looked tempting (lots.of Christmas products). The tour is free and is something different from the usual tourist attractions. Thanks everyone for a great few hours.
