About
Ronda Guitar House is the headquarters of Ronda Guitar Music and where the Daily Spanish Guitar Concerts are held. It opened its doors in 2015 as a multi-cultural space with the mission of offering quality music in the city of Ronda, where you can enjoy daily concerts of Spanish guitar, a series of concerts, presentations of books, records, gatherings, etc. It has a collection of guitars from around the world on permanent display for the delight of the public. More than 1,500 Spanish guitar recitals and other genres have been held in the space as part of the “Guitars and Music of the World” Concert Series, which have been attended by audiences from more than 30 countries around the world. It can be said that Ronda Guitar House is a unique space not only in Ronda but in the whole world. Ronda Guitar House from 2023 is located on Calle Virgen de los Remedios 23, a few meters from Calle Carrera Espinel and 2 minutes from Tajo de Ronda, in the heart of Ronda.

Ronda’s tourist office suggested we browse Ronda Guitar House’s guitar selection and hear Peco Seco perform. By all means, go if you can. An amazing variety of guitars on display.
But the best part was listening to Peco Seco’s superb intimate performance on three different types of guitars, each of which he introduced with a mini lecture.

If you are visiting Ronda, I highly recommend that you see a guitar performance by Paco Seco. He was amazing!!! His passion for the guitar is evident though out his performance. He played a variety of different types of songs and I can honestly say we were mesmerized the entire time. Hearing Paco perform was a highlight of our Spain vacation.

Trying something different on our one day trip to Ronda has been a delight. Although we have 3 choices that night, we opted to see Paco Seco's performance. We were not disappointed. As a matter of fact, it was an awesome performance. I didn't know there were different guitars for the different types of music. My favorite was flamenco and the lullaby performances. He captivated my attention throughout the 45 minutes of entertainment. I wish it was longer thought get enough of it. If we go back to Ronda soon, we will see his show again. I don't think we'll ever get tired listening to him.

One of the highlights of our trip to Spain was this concert by Paco Seco at the Museo Don Bosco. An hour of beautiful music, in a lovely setting. A fabulous way to end a busy day of sightseeing. Sr. Seco is very talented. Highly recommended.

We bought our tickets in advance for that evening's concert. By the time the concert began it was a packed house of about 60 people. Beside us was a person that was on their phone texting constantly. As the program began it was clear this person was not going to get off the phone. I walked back to the front office and complained and the person (wife of the performer) came with me and she attempted to have the person stop. The attendant left and the phone person continued. I again spoke to the office and they again attempted to end the phone usage. All the while the performance was continuing. The phone person would not end her phone usage. So buyer beware-the venue will not assist nor stop any rude behavior. Thus my evening was ruined by this intrusive and rude behavior. I would not recommend this performance for this fact.

We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience and do appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback as we take pride in the quality of our concerts and ensuring that all our guests enjoy the best possible experience.
We are really sorry that this was not the case for you on this occasion.
To date, we have never had a complaint of mobile use during the concert as people respect how disturbing this can be, although there can be times when guides with groups have to co-ordinate collection and other arrangements for their group but we ask that they do this outside or whilst sitting at the end of a row or at the back of the room.
I had put the guide on the end of a row as is customary, however when you arrived and saw where your seats had been reserved you asked to be moved to the end, so we complied with your request but that meant that it was therefore more difficult for her to sit away from the crowd, especially as we had a full house on that evening.
The guide had dimmed her telephone so as not to disrupt people around her and was messaging her bus driver. Although of little value to you now, she apologised profusely at the end of the concert but unfortunately you had already left. My only option would have been to have moved her to the back during the performance, but I was hesitant to further distract the guests including those that were sitting directly behind both yourself and your neighbour and who were also being disrupted by what was happening.
As you note I did try on two occasions to sort out the problem so may I suggest that it is not really appropriate, despite how you may feel, to say that “the venue will not assist nor stop any rude behaviour”.
We hope that you might have the opportunity to visit us again and enjoy our offering.

Super concert for a very reasonable price - with even more reasonable drinks. The concert was just the right length at 45 mins. The guitarist explained everything really well.

We attended a guitar concert given by Paco Seco at the Guitar House in Ronda on our penultimate evening in Spain. What a wonderful experience. Paco thoroughly enjoys talking briefly about the music he plays and plays it well.

We cannot recommend this highly enough.Beautiful music played by a virtuoso.

The perfect start of an evening. Some local wine and a totally mind-blowing 45 minutes of classical Spanish guitarr playing. We even chatted a bit afterwards with Paco who gave my son some great tips about practising the craft of playing the guitarr. A fine experience that I recommend to anyone.

This performance was recommended to us by our Ronda Airbnb host and the tip was spot on. I’m not a classical guitar aficionado but it was obvious Paco Seco was the real deal. His performance covered classical as well as flamenco styles. And unlike some serious musicians Paco has an engaging personality which made the performance even more enjoyable. Highly recommended when in Ronda.
