Great little tour of the jewelry making process. Large selection of silver jewelry. Very friendly, patient and helpful staff. Very clean and well presented retail space.

We wished to buy some small Balinese styled silver jewellery as gifts, as we had heard how Bali is known for it's silver crafts and designs.
As we were not finding things we were looking for in Ubud Market itself in our first day there, we asked the hotel staff where they would recommend to go. they told us to visit Prapen Jewelry and arranged for a private car to go there.
I did not expect to see a 5-star hotel style set up but it was a nice surprise. The designs on view were impressive and the workmanship, as other reviewers have said, is of international quality. Whilst some items are on-par with UK prices, others are much more affordable and value for money. Prapen are also proud to show you their craftsmen at work.
Most of the staff are very helpful and are able to find items which near match your descriptions of what you are looking for.

For years I had wanted a John Hardy type slide and necklace without the huge price. Prapen had the atmosphere, service and wonderful choices that exceeded my expectations. We had time to really look at everything: the artists at work, the gorgeous grounds and of course the jewelry. Don’t miss the amazing serving pieces on the far wall. The staff helped me try on several different lengths of chain and this visit was a highlight of my trip.

Staff here are friendly, helpful and not at all pushy.
There is a huge selection of beautiful silver jewellery at very reasonable prices.
Staff were happy to alter the length of a bracelet for my wife while we waited despite it being difficult because of the style. They also changed it to a different style of clasp.
There is a nice little cafeteria and the toilets (like the whole place) were very clean.
The setting and design of the place itself are lovely.
Well worth a visit.

I was spoilt for choices, but never once was I rushed into buying anything. Ana was most kind in giving me opinions and even was truthful when I tried on pieces which didn't suit me. I fell in love with a bangle but it was really pricey, now I kind of regret not buying it. However, I know this will be a regular place I would visit to get intricate looking pieces of jewelry. Their service was excellent, this definitely was a worthwhile trip!!

I was so impressed by the quality and service at prapen.
Its great to see quality high end items being produced in Bali, I got vey sick of buying cheap sarongs and bitang shirts.
I spent around 4.5million rph here on a silver necklace and bracelet. What a beautiful store it is.

I only had time to visit one silversmith in Celuk, and was so glad that I chose this one. If you want to find excellent quality silver without getting into the tourist quagmire that is Ubud and don't have time to haggle in the rest of Celuk, this is the spot. The shop is beautiful, with the main showroom moated by attractive koi ponds. There is a room at the front where you can see their silversmiths at work. The staff are helpful, but not at all pushy. Take your time to see all of the cases before going back to take a closer look at pieces you liked. Although they feature ~5 design lines on their website the shop itself has much, much more to offer. I'd post a picture or two but no photos are allowed inside the showroom. In addition to the jewelry there is also stunning silver-adorned homewares. There is no haggling here, so the marked price is what you will pay, but it is very good quality and value. I was worried it would be unaffordable, but I found beautiful medium-sized silver highly-detailed earrings I purchased ranging from ~ 300,000 IRD to ~650,000 IRD. They are stamped with the smith's mark, and come with a nice synching cloth bag. If you didn't bring enough rupiah don't worry they accept credit cards (and will even do a cash/card combo).

This was the first of 3 jewellery manufacturers we visited in Celuk, and by far the best. On arrival we were greeted warmly by a member of the staff, and shown through the very large and attractively laid out shop. The jewellery was beautiful, well priced, and different to what we saw elsewhere. Our driver had advised us not to buy until we had been to other stores, but we loved so many pieces at Prapen that we purchased 4 items, and have not had a moment of regret since, although there was bracelet I wish I had bought!

This is the only jewelry store I visited, in my third visit to Bali. It was my Mom and I... we were not intending to go but had some time to kill and our driver suggested Prapen and just stopped there. Entrance looked so grand and being from India and family buying quite a bit of gold and silver jewelry back home I knew right away this is one rich jeweler. There is a big margin in jewelry business.. still I couldn't resist checking it out. There were few new exhibition pieces outside on display and I tried one bracelet. Gosh I loved it.. but this was pricy, in India you can get it 1/3 the price but the design was great and I brought it.

Prapen is the only jewelry store in Celuk that our resort (Mandapa) recommends visiting. I had no expectations when we set out for Celuk, but as soon as you pull up to Prapen, you feel like you're in an oasis. At your election, you are given a tour of the workshop and see how many of the jewelry pieces are made. You then have time to wander around the showroom, which is beautiful. We spent several hours there and came home with some lovely pieces. We could have gotten into a lot more trouble, but wanted to continue exploring the area. Definitely a high-end place with helpful workers, and beautiful jewelry at a variety of price points.
