Fantastic place to spend the day, the water is warm and you can walk out quite far into the water. Great spot to take your dog, although the beach is limited to only a small area for dogs. Lots of parking and easy walk to...More

Our to-do list included a visit to Black Creek Provincial Park or sandy beach as locals call it. We scheduled a swim on our last day in Lion’s Head right after breakfast as we intended to drive back home before lunch. It was a short...More

Stopped by this free beach after doing Greig's caves that was freshly raked and the shallow water looked great but was too cold(15 Celsius) to swim. Had 4 picnic tables on beach and restroom. Clean as a whistle! Only 2 vehicles there, would love to...More

Plain and simple. No shops , no running water, just perfect beach. With two teens we had two experiences in black creek and sauble. Both beaches equally beautiful. But black creek more savage and less produced with only a pit toilet to remind you of...More

A great beach to bring the family. Water is shallow and beach is sandy. Lots of room to play. Hiking trail near by. Washrooms could be improved.

Found it by mistake a few years ago and had a hard time finding it yesterday. Very nice clean Sandy beach. Shallow and warm. We enjoyed it and so did the kids

Surprisingly popular for a non-operational park. There is a large parking area, though it does fill up, as well as washrooms and picnic tables as facilities. The beach is nice. Although signs say no dogs there were at least 5 there that day, something we...More

What else do you need: Sun. Check. Sand. Check. Calm. Check. Shallow. Check. Quiet. Check. This was a great spot that offers a relatively quiet beach day. Not too crowded. The sand out to water is a very gradual decline meaning you can walk out...More

We got there midday and were surprised how little people were on the beach. It has nice fine sand, the water gets very gradually deeper and it is quite clean. Parking can be an issue so maybe get there early. There is a bathroom not...More

white sand, long beach, shallow entrance, and a large parking lot for ease. This is a great place to bring the kids for a swim.
