Dundas is a community tucked beneath the Niagara Escarpment in southern Ontario, Canada. It became incorporated as a town on July 28, 1847. Dundas today, with its picturesque downtown, heritage homes and tree lined streets, still echoes that time. Informative, and fun! At the Dundas Museum & Archives, discover Dundas from the time of the glaciers' slow carving of the valley through to today's vibrant community. The experiences and impact of individuals along the way come alive through objects used in their every day lives. We invite you to visit and explore the stories of people and events that have shaped the Valley Town.

This excellent little museum has always been the place to go for both residents and visitors to learn about the interesting history of Dundas. The current special exhibition of prints is an outstanding and unexpected bonus. One room of the museum is dedicated to fine art prints from Durer to the present, and contains works by some of the greatest... More

Go shopping in the Antique Shops, have a fun lunch at many of the Dundas Downtown eateries, actually you need a whole day to see all there... More

The Dundas Museum and Archive has two small galleries that show paintings by local artists or of local interest. There is often a small (24 or so) special exhibit. Since there is not admission charge you can drop in for 25-30, see a few very nice paintings and carry on with your day exploring Dundas. Yes it is a small... More

Haven't been there in a while but they have a fascinating collection of Canadiana. One block off the main drag just drive around the block!

I took my father-in-law to visit the museum. He always has lots of questions about the history of a place. I just moved to Dundas and had never been. It was a great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful.
