Love this cidery, being one of the first in Australia. Managed to taste the special Pommeau and wow! bought a bottle and will bring out on a cheese night to bring out its full flavour. Thank goodness they sell their ciders in Canberra so we can restock. And the non-alcoholic ones will become a fave in summer.

Nick, Jannene and their crew ran a very informative apple cider making course with tasting as part of Good Food week. We loved it, and the award winning ciders were fantastic to end with.

Knew some friends where coming soon & as they have been up a few times we have always been able to ring & make a booking or the owner is able to bring the order to me at my place. This morning I brought two of the Pommeau as a gift for a couple that have always been up here to visit me & the wineries & of course the 2nd bottle is for me & other friends that are yet to come & visit me & of course the wineries!

This is a bit of a combination review as I stayed with friends on the actual property in the house on site. Small Acres is a small family business with a unique take on 'Cyder". Not what you would expect for any cyder drinkers out there, or those who have experience from their youth. At the time we could only taste a few as the fires last year and subsequent smoke has created some delays for production. That said, what we did taste was excellent and we did buy some to take home. - Cats Pyjamas, and the Pommeau - which is one to keep for Christmas . The house if you get the opportunity to stay there is a lovely three bedroom, large kitchen and wood burner . Would go back again. Thank You Nick and Jannene.

A great tasting experience with Nick at Small Acres Cyder - he is very knowledgeable and imparts this knowledge easily. Pairing of ciders with cheese and then risotto in the tasting experience made a surprising difference to the taste of each. A very hands on family business producing great boutique ciders. We're now waiting impatiently for the full production to come back on line after the impact of the drought! Small Acres are doing what they love and creating a great product.
