About
You'll find us in the heart of North Wales, surrounded by the magnificent forests, rivers, lakes and mountains of Snowdonia. A place where you'll find some of Britain's most intriguing landscapes, many of which have barely changed since the last Ice Age: hard to see how you could be anything but uplifted and inspired by it. Our adventure parc is home to our world-first inland surf lagoon and the only guaranteed surf breaks in the UK. But that's not all; we have indoor adventures at Adrenaline Indoors, or get out into the landscapes and Explore Outdoorss; gorge walking, mountain biking, SUP safaris or coasteering in the company of expert local instructors. Whatever the reason for your visit, book in, relax and make the most of your trip! Our cosy on-site glamping pods sleep up to four people, with tasty food, drink and socials just a short walk away in our cafes, deli, diner and bar.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

my family and I stayed for a week in the huts from 20th August to 26th August, we originally picked your Adventure Park for the facilities you had on offer on your webpage ( which at the time of booking you were still advertising ) it looked a very exciting place to stay. On arrival we were informed the surf pool, free swimming for guests and then the obstacle course where all not available, this was very disappointing and as we were informed by a member of staff on arrival that the facilities had not been available for a while so they really should have been removed from the internet.

My daughter was very excited as she is a keen surfer to use your advertised surf facility and your receptionist said it wouldn’t be working until next year, as I noticed there also was no kayaking or paddle boarding through the week, if we had known NONE of the activities were working we would not have booked to stay with you, therefore the information you had on your webpage at the time was misleading to myself and probably many other families and I feel I’m entitled to a refund or part refund , but not vouchers as we would not be visiting again.

Also the facilities your provide next to the huts is actually very poor, £100 a night to have dirty showers, soap dispenser’s that don’t work, also we didn’t receive 15% off at the hotel restaurant as informed just 10%, sanitary bins over flowing and toilet brushes that are disgusting and roughly 90p to replace, a handful of working light bulbs around the huts, even first thing in a morning when you hope they have been cleaned they are not clean and really doesn’t give a good reflection on your business.

I did try and speak to a receptionist but found there was no on there to help, it was only when we left we discovered you were closing down the facilities the next day so this explains no staff and no water sports.

you falsely advertised the park and gladly took mine and many other peoples money, please pay back what you owe.

Disgrace, booked the adventure parc for my daughter's birthday for her and her friends and then the parc closed a week before her birthday. 6 months on I still have not recieved my refund, although I followed the instruction given by staff to get my money back. Now I hear the adventure parc has been taken over by zip world!

Honestly awful.
Worst customer experience I've ever encountered, very very shady company take bookings/money knowing things are going to be closed/cancelled then refuse refunds.

We've been waiting 11+ weeks for a promised refund (seems many are in the same boat) and I will be continuing to chase this.

Have the cheek to continue to post on social media!!! Upon commenting on their posts for refund info they DELETE/HIDE comments!!! Actually shocking!!!

Shameful- joke of a company.

Originally booked for a stag do last year and couldn't attend due to the wave machine being out of order. A gift voucher was issued and Since then I've waited all spring and summer for repairs so I could use my voucher.. I've had it extended due to it expiring in summer. And right after they did that they announced closure. No response to any emails. No response on the phone.

But they can change all social media and website details removing any trace of the parks closure or refunds? So now I like many others are left in the dark chasing refunds we'll likely not get! Absolutely infuriating as the bank won't do anything either! 🤬

Still waiting for a refund since they said they were closing, 10 weeks on despite numerous emails sent. Not helpful at all when I have managed to get through on the phone. Now the phone lines are transferred to the Hilton.
Extremely disappointed especially considering that we were regular customers.
Can only assume they are hoping people will give up trying however I won’t and will be taking it further, I advise anyone else to do the same.

DO NOT BOOK! THIS PLACE IS CLOSING BUT THEY ARE STILL TAKING PEOPLES MONEY!!!!! CHECK THE NEWS!!! We plus over 1000 other bookings cannot get refunds - they have knowingly taken cash from bookings whilst it’s been closed. All the staff have been laid off today

Great place for a day out. Staff are great, really helpful and friendly. We did the following activities:

Ninja Assault & Extreme Slides
Grown up softplay, great fun

Indoor High Ropes
1 hour tree trekking style adventure. Good for taller kids.

Indoor Caving
Awesome for smaller kids as they can race around really fast. Harder for grown ups.

Indoor Adventure Climb
Clip and climb style with 13 step stairway to heaven.
Check age restrictions.

Great if it's raining as mostly indoors

Do not book here, horrendous booking management and communication. We were booked in for a stag over the weekend for 2 nights, we turn up and they’ve only booked us in for one night. We were left in the dark about what’s going to happen on the second night. Our surfing lesson was cancelled and replaced with total wipeout, fair enough, only to be told 45mins before the start of the session, that the wipeout it’s also broken and they’ve known about it for a while so we’re on kayaks and paddle boards. We booked into the sports bar for the evening only to be moved into a conference room at the Hilton, no bar, no pool table, with no explanation. Dirty toilets, cramped pods and overpriced. To make up for the hassle and stress it caused us we were given 3 rounds of drinks on the house and a free breakfast, which they’re now trying to charge us for! Save your money and go elsewhere. Shambles of a company.

Booked my boys in for the pump track with hired bikes, the instructor turned up at 12:30 on the dot to then try and find helmets for everyone, free for all on knee pads and elbow pads that were all far too big and the bikes were all the same size , regardless of whether you were 7 or 11!
The brakes were poor which was explained away as ‘so you can’t brake hard and go over the handle bars’ but they were in fact non existent. Only the smallest track was suitable for the boys aged 7 & 9 and they were bored of that within 20 minutes. Poor value for money!
Also , the whole place was eerily quiet in the middle of the Summer holidays, you’d expect it to be a hive of activity but the guy at the book in desk was half asleep and a bit useless and the activities were only available a few times a day. Wouldn’t bother going again.
The reception/cafe/bar was shut except the one inside the Ninja/Soft Play area and it didn’t clearly state this either. Seemed poorly managed and run!

I’ve just returned from an extremely disappointing stay at Surf Snowdonia, so much so that I will not be returning.

Your website is throughly deceiving so much so that it would certainly warrant a complaint to the Competitions and Markets Authority under false advertising.

I have been travelling solo with my son since he was 3 years old. He is now 8. I’ve travelled far and wide with my son over the years and this was the first place I was extremely unhappy with and also felt most unwelcome. As a single parent travelling alone, it’s really important that we feel safe and happy where we visit and I didn’t feel that on this visit.

I booked the stay over the phone and the staff member knew my son was 8 but proceeded to only book one ticket for ninja and aqua park. I explained sue to health conditions, I was unable to partake in activities but she reassured me he would be fine solo. The aqua park experience was almost a no go for my son if it wasn’t for my partner who was working in the area had to come along and go on with him - and we were initially told he couldn’t go on because there was no space! The ninja experience was the same and told he couldn’t go on alone!

No facilities to cook and no chef on site so nowhere to eat food apart from the expensive Hilton over the road.

Calling the pods luxury is also false advertising. I’ve stayed in much cheaper with better facilities! Lagoon view was recommended too and that was a mistake as it was noisy!

So many problems to go through on here but on initial check in, it was most unwelcoming too. Everyone was miserable apart from a couple of people. I am so disappointed as it wasn’t a cheap trip!
