Groombridge Place has lovely walled gardens overlooking a 17th century moated manor house. The Enchanted Forest has something for all ages from Crusoe's World with its tree houses and rope bridge. The boardwalk also in the forest is a popular play area with its zip wire and rope swings. The giant tree swings are popular with young and old alike. Two birds of prey displays daily Tue to Sun and Bank Holiday Monday. Don't miss our famous Zedonk (half Zebra and half Donkey).

Very laid back picturesque gardens. Groombridge is a small village, very quiet and not commercialised. There's a pub and that's about it! Proper old fashioned Kent /Sussex village.

I decided on the spur of the moment to take my 18 month old out for the day here and would definitely return again soon. We had a lovely cold sunny day listening to the explorers story time and running around the enchanted forest. The playground was fantastic if catered towards the older children. However there was plenty to see... More

Our first time at Groombridge, we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. We picnicked in garden before walking along the canal path to Crusoe's Wold, play and craft area, we made our way through the other forest attractions: dinosaurs, dens, magic pools, tepee's, swings, fern forests and a wonderful raised walk. Then back through the vineyard and spent time in... More

Groombridge place is a good day out on a sunny summer day with young children. take a picnic as the food there is pretty awful and expensive, there are plenty of spaces to sit out. There are wonderful gardens, peacocks, a river which you can pay to follow on a boat,a birds of prey show worth seeing, an enchanted forest... More

Lovely gardens but shame could not enter Groombridge place itself especially as was featured in Pride and Prejudice film version

We went to Groombridge Place for our annual Halloween visit with the kids and disappointingly this year, it has really gone downhill. It was more expensive than previous years; the boat to collect us (which is an additional charge!) arrived after the start of the last show, so we arrived late for that; there weren't any of the same activities... We went back here with our 2 daughters after not visiting it for about 5 years and were disappointed with what we found. The wooden walk ways and giant swings were as good as we remembered bit a lot of the Enchanted Forest exhibits had not been maintained and were badly in need of some work. The prices of chocolate... My family paid an awful lot of money to visit what we thought was an enchanted wood at christmas 2016, only to find the place full of litter, shabby christmas decorations and broken playgrounds that were tapped up yet children were still playing on it. The place is very old and most things are broken. I could have saved myself... More

I attended the Elfextravagsnza with my husband and three children. We enjoyed a wonderful day walking in the grounds, writing tomSanta and making reindeer food. Lovely personal touches when visiting Santa and the Elves were great at keeping the children entertained in the queue. I look forward to returning in the summer

Love the peacocks wandering around the place. Went on a hot but peaceful day, probably an hours worth of wandering but no longer
