Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Took my 11 year son for his first ever golf game on a golf course. He previously had only been to a golf driving range. So this place was perfect for his introduction to the real world of golf.
The course itself is well looked after and the fairways and green were is reasonable condition. The place was busy with families - dads taking young kids, friends getting together to have a bit of fun. On the day we were there, there was a Batchelor's Party on the course, so lots of people dressed in fancy costumes having a ball of a time.
So if you don't want too serious a game of golf or want somewhere for your kids to try out their skills, then this is the place.
The staff at the Reception were friendly and accommodating too.

This was fun, easy and casual. It is an 18 hole course BUT they are all par 3s so they are very short holes. It is perfect for beginners, especially those who are making the jump from lessons into starting playing.
It would also suit those who want a fun few hours with kids. I wish I’d known about this place a few years ago, as it would have been a perfect kid’s birthday party venue (there’s a BBQ area available as well).
It is not for the serious golfer of course but it would still suit those who find driving ranges boring and prefer to have a walk while practising or the time-poor who want a quick hit. It’s also a great place to play with a friend who’s just taking up golf.
18 holes cost $22 per adult. There was no cheaper option to do 9 holes which was all we wanted to do but I can understand this because 18 holes on this course take about the same time as 9 holes on a full course. Also, they offer loyalty cards and if you go with the same friend, you can share the one card to get the free game more quickly.
You need to take very little with you, just a pitching wedge, putter, sand wedge (I also took a 7 iron but it’s not essential). If you haven’t progressed to the buying-clubs stage yet, you can hire single clubs which is very handy (I think they were $5 a club but check on that).
There is no need to book, there was plenty of parking and you can play in the evenings as well under lights until 8pm. It is a very casual atmosphere and the staff try to make you feel welcome. Most importantly, if you are new to golf, you don't need to feel intimidated by the rules and regulations of golf etiquette and there is no formal golf dress code.
One tip - you wouldn't think you could lose balls on a par 3 course but the very soft grass meant that the ball sometimes sank right into it and disappeared completely so don't rely on taking just 1 ball.

Owner was rude and unfair... after removing us from the course for “improper social distancing”. He refused to refund me after only 5 interrupted holes and was not able to negotiate any form of compensation for our unfair treatment.

This was my 3rd visit to Par 3 so therefore my 3rd time attempting the great game that is Golf. Lovely staff, beautiful greens and surrounds, very natural setting. So much fun, easy to play though still challenging especially for those with little experience which is why I love it here, great day.

We held my sons 10th birthday party here & it was a huge success, we had a mix of kids & adults playing a short round (9 holes)followed by a BBQ.
Peter the manager couldn't have been more helpful or easy going.
This is a great venue for groups, or individuals.
Par 3's or pitch & putts are hugely successful in the UK & with such a good model here at Terrey Hills I am surprised there aren't more of these here in Sydney.

This is a short course golf course,as well as a Practice Range and an excellent Chinese restaurant, The Paradise. This overlooks the golf area. The restaurant is tops made ven better by the Restaurant Manager Victor. Their duck pancake entree is the best ever. A hidden gem this whole complex.

A good little par 3 course. Longest fair way is about 60m or so. You just need a sand wedge/ pitching wedge and a putter. Easy for the whole family to enjoy.

Onsite pro shop allows you to hire clubs and golf balls (if you don't bring your own). I recommend you hire the little tee's @ $1 each. Just the right height for getting some loft off the artificial tee box. Also get drinks and snacks. Looks like a good spot for office functions as well. Stays open until 8pm so fun under the lights too.
