I’ll start with the only good points: staff us very nice and the site is very clean. Other than that there was nobody there (which was already a sign), we didn’t have to wait in line. Rides (if we can call that rides) are very...More

I finally made it to this centre of Vulcanology built in a mountain side. You will need about 6 hours to explore the different galleries, experience earthquakes and tsunami, ride a lava flow and much much more. This is not an amusement park, it’s an...More

We went off season so it was quiet and waiting times minimal. We enjopyed it all once we had got the hang of the layout. Lots of school visits but no problem. The car park is enormous and suggests that what we did in half...More

Vulcania had the potential to do very impressive and interesting attractions but focused everything to educational stuff. Nit that it's bad but it tends to be boring for adults. The entry is quite expensive I would recommend to come only during week ends with your...More

Very nice visit, no wait on a long week end in may. Doable in a day, attractions are nice but mostly scientific - no high thrill roller-coaster. Very good for teenagers.

This place isn't a theme park, however it is the best interactive, experiential museum I have ever been to. It is good value for money. The whole family will enjoy it and learn from it. The waiting times for the 4D experiences were fine. There...More

Ok, so in July, contrary to other reviewers there are no lines and no wait at all. Every "ride" was pretty much empty. Its not a ride, but just a enhanced video experience. But speaking of the quality of it. It's very much low tech....More

We drove past signs for this on the autoroute between Moulins and The Dordogne and thought "Why not? Can't think of a volcano museum we can go to in the UK!" When we arrived it was teeming and is obviously a must see in this...More
