Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Was excited to try out my driving skills at the Drift School, arrived at 8.30 for very prompt safety briefing and then split into groups depending on the package bought, a little confusion regarding which group but everyone very helpful and soon sorted. First was laps with the professional drivers doing the battle with other drift car - cool. Then onto handbrake entry (4 attempts), donuts (2 mins) and figure of 8's (2 mins). There were 35 of us doing the morning session, I arrived for 8 30 and left just after 11, with total time driving a drift car was around 5 minutes. You can tell I left disappointed! Now I wasn't very good which didn't help as I wanted more time to improve and to be fair the instructors did give me some extra time over the 2 mins (stopwatches in the cars to manage the time). It was a gift, but given it's $289 full rack rate I would expect longer driving time.

It was my birthday gift. I Live and Love drifting!!!.
it was a very good experience. Did the hand-break, donuts and figure 8. As well as the hot lap.
Next time it will be the next drifting level.

I will start with the Pro's I LOVED the Passenger Laps, I loved the final exercise in the Drift School 101 class (Drift Entry) All if the guides were great and knowledgeable.
The Parts I didn't enjoy
1. The lack of organisation throughout the day a lot of standing around not wanting to duck over to the toilet in case you missed your turn!
2. Drift School would suggest being in the car to LEARN but each of the 3 sessions in the car had a time limit of 3 minutes (meaning a total time of 9 minutes in the car for the 101 class)
3. D.J's (the hosts) attitude It wasn't nice hearing him say to someone doing the Masterclass (Right in front of me) "we just like to get these 101 guys cleared out so we can really get into it" Made me feel great after spending $450 for a 9 minute drive.
A head's up for anyone booking It is all on a wet track also. So Don't expect Smoke
I have wanted to do this experience for many years now and finally flew from Tasmania to Sydney to do it and have left very disappointed.

I was given a drift introductory package as a gift and what a gift it was.
On a lovely sunny Sunday morning we smoked the tyres at Sydney Motorsport Park. It was a great experience made even better by friendly, attentive and well coordinated staff. Thanks heaps DJ and all your staff.

Was given a voucher for a drifting experience.
Thought the day was well run and enjoyed the experience.
I personally struggled to drift around the cone, the instructor was very good in walking you through the process.
I thoroughly enjoyed the passenger experience with the professional drivers.
These guys are so skilled in drifting it was amazing.
If you are into drifting or interested in the experience it is a must do

It was a really cool experience, but the description for a gift I received through redballoon for intro to drifting. It said "experience a thrilling 60-90minutes of drifting with a professional driver". I waited 45 minutes until I got to practice hand brake turns a few times and donuts a few times. Then I had to wait 30 mins to get 2 laps around a drift track which was really awesome. But overall I must have been in a drift car for 10 minutes. And the experience cost around $250. I understand the cars are insane and so require expensive servicing and stuff, but please outline that you will only be in the actual car for a very short time. Thanks
