Made our way to the lovely Pieter Van Gent yesterday to see what was new. The staff were so friendly and made us feel right at home. The white and pink ports were a standout ! Day was made by a visit from the cellar door cat, Tom.

Great spot to visit! Wonder on in and sit amongst the old barrels and try a glass, do a tasting or ask for recommendations. Friendly staff and cosy, shady spots to sit. Would be stunning in Winter also. Thank you for having us!

Great building, loved walking through the barrels, rusty, real, and does not feel like a commercial tasting room. The experience, the wine, the tasting, the gorgeous experienced host, and the cat all made it memorable. It was great to have a passionate host who loves her wines and the region. We were pleased we got to see this cellardoor!

Yet another amazing visit to Pieter Van gent. Jayme was amazing, we came late Wednesday but Jayme still accommodated us. We tried the new Rose and the new Sangiovese and it was 5 star. A must visit when you come Mudgee.

We came as a large group without a booking and were made to feel welcome. Our host Jamie was incredible with our children. Clearly an amazing host, Jamie did our tasting and was very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the Muller, a variety we had never tried before. My wife bought a selection of sweet and fortified wines, very happy with our visit. Would recommend.
