Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We walked from Roses around the coastal walkway which got more rugged and beautiful as we went along. We stopped for a coffee at a cafe on the beach at Almadrava about an hour after we left Roses. We carried on for another couple of hours to Montjoi where we had a refreshing swim and lunch on the beach at a cafe. It really was a spectacular sight walking these cliffs.
You need to wear good walking shoes and take plenty of drinking water. The path can be uneven so take care.
We returned the way we had come and were quite weary by the time we got back. We are in our fifties and not super fit but it was a real highlight of our holiday.

Ruta Cap Norfeu-Roses is an excursion in well-known Costa Brava, in Girona region, in Catalonia. It is a very beautiful walking, where you can see very nice views of the coast, cliffs and Mediterranean Sea. Also, you can see the typical Mediterranean flora and obviously you can bath and sunbath in some of the beaches you find in the way. Very recommendable excursion.

Sept 2017 • Friends
With a group of friends, we decided to go for a short hike (app 2 hours) around Cap Norfeu. Stunning views; water all around!
Tips:
- Bring plenty of water (don't expect anyone selling drinks at the very top ;) )
- Hiking boots aren't necessary, but make sure to wear at least trainers that have some grip
- Pay VERY close attention to the path's markers. We definitely missed a turn somewhere...

Views in every direction, quiet and peaceful and just a wonderful place to visit. Also Cala Calitjas and Cala Joncols are lovely little coves which are off the beaten track, though don't expect to be the only ones there, they might be a fair old hike to get to, but they are not so secret.

This is a stunning area of outstanding beauty. We decided to get a long walk in early in the morning and ended up enjoying it so much we stayed out most of the day.
I packed a lot of water. YOU MUST TAKE PLENTY OF WATER with kids. The paths are easy to follow the views and constantly changing vista is just a must-do! We ended up snorkelling and diving I a secluded cove at the very eastern tip of the peninsula. Take care to stay close to shore as the boats pass often. We had an EPIC (according to my 10 year old) day.
Days like this cannot be easily forgotten.

We walked up to the top on a warm summers day, started early and were glad of the sea on the way back. Takes lots of water.

Amazing views along the Mediterranean. We hiked from the lighthouse to Almadrava and loved every minute. Take water with you and a towel and swimsuit.

Bonjour,

bonne balade !
