Overlooking the sea, the tombs are what they are, empty tombs interesting and a lot of work must have gone in after their discovery. Just off the beaten track close to Dome Hotel and Asterias hotel and close to some welcoming beaches about a 10...More

Stumbled on this site walking along to the very end of Makronissos Beach. Brief but interesting notice at the entrance but it had been graffiti scrawled on it and perhaps used for target practice by the locals as there was certainly what appeared to be...More

If you like history, then a stroll back in time, about 300 B.C. is what you'll get. The area is flat, so does not give anything away yk say there are times buried underneath. The tombs have proper steps down into them and appear to...More

This is an interesting archaeological site, in very good state. It is well worth the walk from Makronissos beach.

Not a very big site but worth seeing all the same. Area around the tombs is paved so easy to walk around

Very interesting if you are into history and archaeology. Just a small site but very accessible. Just think of the stories that could be told at this site. Good for a short visit!

2000 year old tombs to explore. Interesting information board in English but would have liked more info. Half an hour or so to explore. Would not make a special trip. Take it in during a visit to the beach. Fenced but not gated.

When told that this place was next to our hotel I thought great, but when I visited I was disappointed to see it wasn't a large area with very little information,
