A must visit while in Cyprus!
Visited Nissi beach twice while we were in Cyprus. We were staying in protaras and easily got the bus to right near Nissi beach. Beds were only €2.50 for the day, clean beautiful beach. Even the beach bar to each and drink in was reasonable.

Great water and party for young people at the beach bar
Very crowded beach with amazing clean and clear water and white sand. Showers is just on one place and the beach is too long. It’s shame that they are not free and you have tu pay for it. Also in july and august if you want to have un umbrella with sunbeds you should go before 7 o clock at the morning, after that, it’s all full.

    Very popular beach!
We visited Nissi Beach during our Ayia Napa holiday as a break from the pool. It was a 20 minute walk from our hotel but there are good bus options if not in the mood for walking. It can get very busy there, we arrived around 9.30am and found sunbeds (7.50 Euros for 2 beds and umbrella) to the left of the main beach, which felt nicer than the more crowded parts. The sea was lovely and blue and not very rocky, also quite shallow unless far out. There was a raised, seated snack bar near us which was not too busy and did burgers/hot dogs etc with drinks and smoothies. There is a foam party at the central part of the beach which everyone seemed to enjoy. We tried the jet skis which was fun. In all we stayed until late afternoon before heading back. We all enjoyed it, though it can get very busy. We would probably go again if in Ayia Napa.

Very busy but beautiful views and nice clear warm sea!
Visited in august one late afternoon and it was still very busy but we did manage to get 2 Sun loungers and an umbrella (7.50 euro) - if your wanting to spend the day here I would recommend getting here early to get the best spot. There is room however to put your towels down on the sand. The walk over to the island is nice, sea is very clear and warm! A nice change from the cold dirty sea back in the UK. It was RNB afternoon at the Nissi Bay Beach Bar so we enjoyed listening to this while catching some rays - there’s a few other bars / restaurants and shops here too.

    Beautiful!
This beach is stunning! The views are beautiful. Sea is so clear and couldn’t see any rubbish as mentioned in other posts. Did look out for this after reading what some people said. It was very clean when we went. It is busy but expected due to how beautiful it is. Get there early and there is lots of sun beds. One of the best beaches we have visited.

    Crystal clear water
Wonderful white sand beach with crystal clear water and beach bars. Lovely hot weather but chaos during summer as the beach is not that big. Highly recommended Petra Snack Bar. Self service beachfront bar with fantastic view, attentive staff and reasonably priced. Cheaper than other beach bars tho.

Cyprus my favorite place for winter
Cyprus and Nissi Beach is my favorite winter destination. Unfortunately Wizz cancelled the flight from my town Cluj-Napoca to Larnaka on winter period. If somebody can make some pressure to restart flying on this route ,please do it.

    Fun in the sun
We were on a big family holiday staying in Protaras but went to Nissi beach twice as we enjoyed it the first time so much. The beach is lovely and the sea is really clear. There is also a lovely beach bar with a DJ playing all day. On our second visit we did some of the water sports on offer. Eight of us went on Twister which was a mental eight minutes of fun. Then four more went on Cyclone which was good but not as crazy as Twister. Would definitely recommend you spend the day at Nissi beach.

Great beach in Ayia Napa, perfect ocean
Nissi Beach was all I expected and more. Beautiful torquise ocean that has many small fish swimming by the shore, the sun beds were reasonably priced at €2.50 per bed with an additional cost of €2.50 for the use of the umbrella for the day. Nissi beach has a great watersports centre offering lots of activities aswell as lots of places to eat, drink and buy beach accessories such as snorkeling masks Inflatables

    Very nice beach!
A beautiful beach with crystal clear water! we reached early around 10.30 and got the sunbeds as it does get crowded! There were also good watersports happening and my kids did the banana ride and parasailing and loved it! The beach club is overpriced but that’s expected so that’s ok..rest had the most amazing time because the kids enjoyed the water and so did we!

One of the marvellous beaches I’ve ever been to, with multiple shades of blue and fluffy sand. I recommend going on this beach while in Ayia Napa and have a sun bath with a local frappe from Petra Snack Bar. The sunsets are magnificent from this beach as you can see the waves in multiple blue - turquoise shades

Went to Nissi Beach to see what all the fuss was about and I can say it was definitely worth it.
It’s a large beach, beautiful soft sand. You need to get there early to get a bed and an umbrella as it fills up quick. We got there at 9.30 and it was already mostly full with just a small section near the rocks left.
Beds and umbrellas are €2.50 each for the day. A guy comes round and takes payment for them once you are settled. You can pay by card.
The water is so warm and clear and the beach is very clean. We took our own snorkels as you can swim a short while out and see lovely fish.
The Nissi Beach Bar is excellent. Brilliant atmosphere with a DJ playing great tunes. You can hear it sat in the shallow sandy area of the water. Average cost of cocktail is €8. Lovely pizza was €8. We also ordered 3 x chips and 3 x cokes which was €25.
All in all it was a fabulous day and I would definitely recommend it.

One of the highlights of our trip to Cyprus.

Plenty of sunbeds although I would advise arriving early to get the spot you want. We arrived around 0930 am and I would estimate 80% of the beds were taken.

Sunbeds were €2.50 per lounger and €2.50 for the umbrella, so €7.50 for the
"set". Value for money I thought.

There's a beach bar with a DJ and the music was great, providing a cool atmosphere.

The sea was amazingly clear with great snorkelling opportunities. You can hear the music from the bar out in the water too, which was really good.

I would definitely return to Nissi Beach again, just a bit earlier than 0930!

A beautiful beach but very very busy. There are lots of sunbeds but these get filled up early. The sand is so soft and the sea shallow. Really lovely swimming in the sea. The far end of the beach has a watersports area
If you want to spend any time on the beach get there early as it does get very crowded. The only toilets are at the far end where the Ayia Napa beach cafe is. A bit of a walk if you're at the other end.
There are some nice bars and restaurants by the beach.

I am sure it is very beautiful, but its beauty is ironic, because it means it is very crowded. I think maybe go very early, or very late.

A beautiful beach but very overcrowded. The shallow waters allow you to walk out onto the little island and the watersports.

By 09.30 you will find it hard to find sunbeds, 7.50 euros for 2 beds and umbrella. Beds are really close together, I can even fart without everyone walking away.

I've been laying here watching the man collecting the money. ( I know, I'm sad). Earlier on he was taking back handers to put towels on the beds and reserving for people. He is also so rude. (This is the little guy with a large hat on).

Worth a visit for a day I suppose.

Really nice beach but it is packed full of people. We arrived at 9:30am and over 70% of beds had already been taken. Squished together like sardines, which also made it hard to adjust your sun bed if you were trying to chase and/or avoid the sun. We preferred the local cove/beach outside our hotel.

The water (which we were quite surprised by) wasn’t actually as crystal clear. We took snorkels but couldn’t really see anything (compared to our local beach). There is also lots and lots of floating seaweed (if this freaks you out) and we saw lots of floating plastic in the water.

Slightly overrated in my opinion but was worth the visit.

Lovely beach, beautiful sand and crystal clear sea. You had to wade out a bit before it was deep enough to swim but it was lovely and calm. Did a little snorkeling near the edges .
There's also waterworks and cafes available. Loads of sunbeds but even at the beginning of June we got the last 2 beds around 11am so arrive early for choice.
I only scored 4 star due to how busy it was, otherwise would he 5 stars. But then it's good, so it gets busy!
