Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hastings Street never fails to be lovely - with its trees lining the whole street, all lit up at night, the hustle and bustle, and the proximity to the beach.. it’s a reminder of how shopping used to be… just pricier! So nice to Bob in and out of shops in a street setting, sit in a street cafe and enjoy watching the padding parade. Good to see how well its survived COVID….and there’s plenty of variety in the shops. You do need a well charged Credit card to enjoy it all, but much of it is still cheaper than New Zealand for us kiwis to enjoy. Only downside is the early closing at around 5.30… would be lovely to be able to mooch thete into the evening a bit…. but otherwise it’s a good experience.

Stroll here for a relaxing afternoon.
Covid has brought some positives for tourists who like reduced hustle and bustle.
Loads of Sales to pick up a bargain.
Stop and enjoy a drink in the bars, then stay for an evening meal and resume your stroll amongst the twinkling fairy lights draped in the overhead canopy of trees.

Like most tourist destinations every city or town has a main street and in Noosa, Hastings Street is the one here. It makes for a great place to get a good feel of what Noosa is all about, plenty of restaurants, cafes, clothing, arts and crafts, variety stores aplenty. No matter what time of the day, early morning, afternoon, evening the place is always busy. We found ourselves walking this street almost every day, stopping in for a coffee, going for lunch or just having a leisurely stroll. It certainly makes for a good place to spend some time just absorbing the atmosphere of Noosa

Hastings Street is a must visit when holidaying on the Sunshine Coast. The tree lined street is superb and is so close the beach. Lots of bistros, cafes, swimwear and gift shops. You are spoilt for choice for sure !
The beach is lovely to walk along too. At one cafe there is a line up of scooters which is very impressive indeed !

Noosa has some much going for it and it all revolves around the hub "Hastings street"
Shopping, Art, Resturants, Cafes and heaps of beauty services. The beach 50 mtrs away with the surf club at the eastern end on the roudabout set a scene of "what more could you want". Expensive maybe a bit but wehere are you? if heaven is Noosa great job God! Go enjoy the amazing people watching and happy mood of the lucky tourists.

Hastings street is modern and looks nice, however, there really is nothing to do there other than look at expensive fashion shops and drink overpriced coffee. The only thing I liked was looking at the sports cars. Noosa has much more to offer if you get away from this street.

Worth visiting for a short stroll around and to see what Noosa is all about. Lots of shops and restaurants around. Would not advise eating and shopping there if you are holidaying on a budget, as quite an expensive area. But if you are interested in high end retail therapy then a great spot for you. Restaurants and cafes offered beach views and offered mid-range to expensive dining options.

As streets go it is one of the best around with some classy shops , a few restaurants, tropical foliage and expensive apartments. It has a good feel to it and has maintained a more classy feel than most beach side shopping precincts. The high rent keeps out the tacky tourist shops and restaurants and long may it continue

Hasting street has many dinning choices and many ice cream shops for dessert or treat the little and big kids. Also lots of shop choices for shopping but only 1 food store ( seven eleven) to buy essentials. The area feels safe to walk at night with young children

Super cheery street for a perambulation up and down. Lot's of tourist-oriented shops, although surprisingly few cafes and eateries (try Cafe Vincino for a good cup of
coffee). And a good place to jump off to other pursuits, including the Noosa National Park (just over a km stroll up the road) and the ferry terminal for all matters nautical (just behind the Hotel Sofitel). If you're anywhere in the environs you'll no doubt spend an hour or two at Hastings St.
