Hastings Street is just like any other small town or holiday place. The wife was not over enthusiastic about the shops. The cafes and restaurants for me are the highlight but again there are nothing to call out. People are nice as you would expect...More

Enjoyed fabulous creamy ice cream at a shop on the left hand side as you turn into Hastings Street close to the dress shop on the corner.

Hastings Street is a great place to shop, eat or stay. There is plenty of selection and it's an easy walk around the area. It lights up at night w/ their wonderful outdoor restaurants. We loved our stay in the area.

Certainly worth a stroll .. lots of restaurant options for Breakfast lunch & dinner. Some lovely shops to browse in (not all over the top prices) .. definitely worth a wander.

Hastings Street is full of beautiful shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants. Zachary's for great pizzas and people watchers is one of many restaurants and cafes along the street. The street has a sophisticated and European feel with cafes open onto the pavement.

Does anyone know the name of the jewellery designer that has a night stall on Hastings St? Her mum does hair braiding? Cool jewellery - lots of alphabet rings and necklaces. We bought a ring and lost it before we got home and really want to replace it. Thanks
