What a day, one I'll remember forever!!

Myself and my girlfriend booked a one day guided tour and we both loved it!
The day started off by us being picked up from the hostel we were staying at by their dedicated bus driver which took us straight to the site location.
Once arrived we were greeted by the team and our tour guide Chris. Everything was ready and waiting for us and we commenced with a small brief on what we had in store for us. We moved swiftly on down to the water's edge and straight into the 2 man kayak not long after we set off! We were travelling with two lovely girls also as well as Chris our tour guide. After 1:30hrs we stopped for a drink and some fresh fruit which was provided as part of the service. We set off again which took us into the reserve which was breathtaking!! Serious ambience! Nothing but birds chirping and the sound of kayaks gliding through the water! Further down the stretch we went for a swim Chris snapped a few pics on the go pro and we set back off for home! Halfway back we stopped for a picnic lunch (which was also provided). It was a fine lunch with Chris explaining everything was from local businesses. Now for the crazy bit!! We set back off for home and we could see a storm brewing in the direction we were heading and then the heavens opened!! Thunder and lightning flashing and booming around us with rain and mist blocking our vision! We all powered on as a team and managed to get back safely!
Chris was a superb tour guide with heaps of knowledge and stories we couldn't have asked for a better guide! He took pics/vids throughout on his go pro which gets sent to you the following day!

Finally, they also take you back to your accommodation as part of the service also.

Absolutely wicked day and for sure recommend it to anyone!!!

Thanks guys :)

Connor

That 3 day/ 2 night trip is going to be talked about, embellished & romanticised for years to come.
So fortunate to get the first of the warm spring days coincide with our trip.
Paddling through ‘the bends’ of the upper Noosa River was the most picturesque & tranquil experience we’ve had. A close second was being out in the lake early evening to share the sunset with the swans, ducks and kookas’

Fantastic experience! Kanu Kapers staff were brilliant and really passionate about the day. A nice workout paddling across the lake at the start to reach the narrows but well worth it when you get to the beautiful calm waters at the other side! Got to Harry’s Hut with plenty of time to stop and have some lunch before heading back.

Have already recommended to many friends to try! Next time myself and my girlfriend would love to try the 2+ day tours and camp over night!

We when we called Kanu Kapers, they were unable to provide the service that we needed on the day that we had available. However, the staff member continued to be very friendly, relaxed and helpful. He pointed at us in the right direction. Very impressive customer service!

Wow what a wonderful day we had kayaking the Noosa Everglades. Our guide Chris was professional and so knowledgeable. Loved that it was a small group and got to me some lovely people. The day went way to fast. We paddle across the lake and stopped off at Fig Tree Point for morning tea. We then continued up the Everglades, all the while Chris was informing and show us different things and passing on his incredible knowledge. We returned to Fig Tree Point for a very healthy and tasty lunch, and tea and coffee. We had a small 400m around the Melaleuca circuit. We returned to the kayaks and had a cool off in the water. We then sadly had to return Boreen Point. Thank you, Chris for an amazing day.

A great experience for our school camp. We took 12 high school students for a night away where they had to take in kayaks all they needed for the night. The trip was challenging and took the kids out of their comfort zone but very doable for all of them. The crew were well organised and professional and really gave the kids some wonderful experiences to remember long beyond their time at school. Thanks Kanu Kapers from My Independent School

We went on a one day guided kanu trip in the Everglades with Josh and Leisal. They were excellent, always aware of which participants needed extra help, patient and responsible.

My husband has mobility issues and Josh was brilliant. We went on a dummy-run with him the week before to check that my husband could get in and out of the kanu (he could with help) and was comfortable. Josh made it clear that everyone was valued and equal, regardless of circumstance or experience.

Highly recommend.

I had a lovely day kayaking in the Noosa Everglades on the 1-day guided tour! The scenery was stunning, our guides very friendly and told us many interesting things on the surrounding environments and animals. The tour also included swimming in the river and a delicious lunch in the bush. The tour is quite long so a medium level of fitness is required, but the views will reward you.
This was the highlight of my trip in Noosa and I totally recommend it!

Wonderful day paddling to Fig Tree Point and up into The Narrows. Day was overcast but water temperature was great for a swim. Guide was very knowledgeable and able to share information about the local area.
Looking forward to more trips into the everglades.
