We thoroughly enjoyed this 1,5 hour cruise from Noosa Marina to Hasting Street and back. The commentary from the captain was very interesting and informative. We recommend this ferry cruise to any visitor to Noosa.

Nice ferry service along the Noosa River. Can hop on and off at various points along the river and multiple times if you buy the all day ticket. Found the commentary a bit too much as we just wanted to enjoy the peaceful ride along river.

What a wonderful way to see the river and Noosa surrounds! The captain was excellent and provided a great history but allowed us to not be overloaded and left us to also enjoy the surrounds!
We left from Hastings St and headed through to the Marina. We had anticipated catching the 4.30pm home, however this doesn’t run in winter and ended up having to catch the 5.15pm. This ended up being an excellent outcome, as we got the sunset to watch all the way home to Hastings!
Time your trip for this, breathtaking!

This review relates to the ferry service that operates between Noosa Marina and Noosa daily and provides a timetable that ensures people a service on a very regular basis as 2 ferries are operating during the day.

This service is reliable, consistent and the trip is comfortable.

Between both end points, there are 5 pick-up/put-down wharves, 4 of which are along the Gympie Terrace foreshore and a further one at Ricky’s Restaurant.

Our return trip from the Big Pelican wharf was $15 per person.

We are twice yearly visitors to Noosa, and have been so for 20+ years. Anytime friends join us here we take them on the ferry because it is a lovely way to view the river down to Noosa Heads. However, I purchased 4 tickets ($66) late October 2022 for me, husband & 2 friends. We were unable to use the tickets, so I kept them to use when we next visited. I tried to use them last week (March 23) but was told the tickets weren't valid, and to travel we had to pay again. It would have cost them nothing to show good will and honour the tickets, and it would have ensured our continued loyalty. Instead they have lost our custom. We won't be using the ferry service again.

We had been recommended the Noosa Ferry and it did not disappoint, a beautiful little boat, great tunes and very scenic. Captain Dan was a highlight, he blew the horn for our kids and was really passionate and informative about the Noosa area. Thank you Noosa ferries and Captain Dan!

This is a must to do if you are staying in Noosaville, so much fun, we did the whole loop at 4.30pm, we saw the sunset on the way back, had some drinks, met some lovely people and Mick was our captain, he was awesome! Great music, interesting commentary, funny jokes and he looked after everybody on the ferry so well. We will definitely be doing it again, hopefully Mick will be our captain again !!

During this holiday in Noosaville, we used the ferry on more frequently than on previous visits. It really is such a great resource for the tourist.

For the first time, we bought a day pass and boy, do you get value for money. We spent time in both Noosa (for a swim) and Tewantin for food and coffee, back to the hotel to change, lunch in Noosaville and then later in the day for the final two trips experiencing the glorious sunset.

With Mick at the helm, we also got an interesting 'take' on the area and its history.

As an earlier reviewer suggested, getting the daypass makes an awful lot of sense and we will be doing that more on future visits.
