Drizzly day but still worth the drive. Started of foggy but once the wind blew the clouds away it was an amazing view of Noosa. Path was a little slippery with the rain but there were handrails for the steep paths. An easy walk. Well worth it, especially at sunset or sunrise.

Fifteen minute drive (about 9.4km) from Tewantin centre to lookout carpark. Drive up mountain is mix of sealed and unsealed road, but in good condition. The 1km return summit walk from carpark is a good steady incline with steps and easy for someone with medium fitness. I saw some walking who were not so fit huffing and puffing but take your time and it's worth the views. The path is very easy to navigate and even if wet would not be slippery. Best 360 degree view I've seen with easy access in area. Even though views to east were hazy from bushfires, west was clear.

Beautiful drive to the car park through the bush. The walking track is very well formed with safety rails where they are needed. Easy walk to the top. Signs said 45min return to top lookout however took us no more than 20 minutes return. Family friendly activity.

Underated for views this lovely viewing area can be difficult to locate using google maps which seems to take round in circles .
But we got there and found the short well laid out walking trail to the summit .
Really such a great spot to get the lay of the land.
I had hoped to do a few more walking tracks but seems it’s all climbing and mountain biking and not much more

We took our elderly relative who needs a walking stick. He was determined to get from the carpark to the lookout point. Considering he has other health issues, he (and we) were thrilled he made it to the lookout point. We even brought him back down lol

I grew up on the Sunshine Coast & never visited Mount Tinbeerwah until today (I thought it was near Beerwah not Noosa). It’s funny how you often don’t realise what’s in your own backyard however spectacular! This one is a gem.

The walk up is fairly easy and only 500m long and once at the summit you get spectacular 360 degree views over Noosa, Cooroy, Lake Weyba & Tewantin National Park. To get there I travelled along the Bruce Highway, took the Cooroy exit, headed along Noosa-Cooroy Road, turning right at the sign to Mt Tinbeerwah. It’s a 2km drive up (part sealed/unsealed) to the car park. It was definitely worth the drive from Maroochydore.

Easily accessible so is a must visit if in Noosa shire. A short walk on established paths is all it takes to get excellent views of Lake Coothraba and Noosa. On warm days it is advisable to take a bottle of water.

After a short walk (about 500m) you will be treated by beautiful views of Noosa. It is an esy walk with 360 degrees view of the region. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

We hired electric bikes in Tewantin and biked from there (near the marina) to the lookout of Mt Tinbeerwah in 45 minutes, under two hours return trip. It was lovely natural reserve almost all the way and only a 200m section of having to be on the road bike lane. So not too scary if you are inexperienced. Amazing views at the top lookout/ shelter. Lovely spot for sunset watching/picnic. Note there is a simple toilet at the top. There were good shared bike paths out there, (right side heading out). It was recommended to cross at the rest home then take Gyndier Drive which is through reserve and was a proper road but is now blissfully closed to traffic. This was great fun with an e bike and no sweat biking up, super fun coming back down. At the top of Gyndier drive head right and carefully cross the main road, and bike up the Mt Tinbeerwah road to the summit. This is mixed sealed and gravel all the way.
A fantastic way to try out e bikes on the hill on a short scenic ride. We live in the hilly volcanic crater of Lyttelton, Christchurch NZ and this had made us keen to get our own e-bikes when we can afford it as it opens up so much more possibility and distance to explore, whilst giving you as much or as little a work out as you want.
There is a good local government PDF map of this route up the Mt, and other bike tracks online.
