Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As a group of 16, some inexperienced, we enjoyed our hike on the Warren River Loop Trail. The trail is well-marked, but before setting out, and especially if one is inexperienced, one should read up on the trail. It's important to know the trail marker and follow it. We didn't and we walked an extra 2 km at the start.
The mossy vegetation gave an ethereal feel. It was early spring, and it was forecast to rain, but it turned out that only light showers wet us, and the rain added to the beauty of the experience.

The walk beside the Warren River was the best. Since we walked the loop clockwise, after parking at the Bicentennial Tree, which turned out to be badly-advised, we had to struggle on the climb away from the river.

There were several camp grounds and picnic spots, which would be welcomed by visitors, either coming in vehicles, or like us, I foot.
A must-do, and one of the best trails in the State.

I really enjoyed coming here and hiking some of the great walk trails in this area.

You don't need to walk, because you can drive on the Heartbreak Trail, a one way gravel road. This follows the Warren River for part of the way, and is a good way to get a taste of the beauty of the area from the comfort of your vehicle. There are several places you can stop along the way, including a lookout, and a campground.

Alternatively, you can also walk through the park, and that was the reason I'd come here. The Warren River flows through the park, so sections of the walk trails go alongside and over the river, which is very pretty and adds to the scenic beauty - there are some rapids that give added interest in one location. The walk trail is known as the "Warren River Loop", and it's a bush walking trail of about 10km, and follows and crosses the Heartbreak trail for much of it. When doing the walk there are lots of good places along the river to stop along the way, and there's good variety in the scenery.

The Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree is also located here, so you can also take the time to take on that challenge (which I successfully did!). This is also where you can park and start your walk.

All in all I spent a few wonderful hours here, first doing the Warren Loop walk, then climbing the tree, and topping it off by driving through the Heartbreak Trail before heading home. A great place to come for a day-trip, especially if you enjoy hiking and tree climbing.

A beautiful 30 minutes to 1 hour scenic drive exploring spectacular virgin karri forest in the south west. A dirt road but can drive in an ordinary sedan. Stop at Maiden bush to kayak, visit Drafsty's camp,Warren campsite, Warren lookout and admire Dave Evan's Bicentennial tree.

Beautiful walk round the Warren River Loop. Very peaceful. Saw 4 other humans in 3 hours it took to do the walk. It's advertised as 10.4 km but they don't say there is very little flat. It's quite hilly and feels like 14 km but totally worth the effort. Fantastic forrest with huge trees and a river also full of fallen trees making great photo opportunities. Good paths and signage.

Enjoy the beauty of the Karri forests and the Warren River on the 12 km Heartbreak Trail (gravel road and walk trail). We walked for a few kilometres on a narrow path beside the Warren River. It was mainly flat with a few undulations. For more adventurous hikers there is the 10.5km Warren River loop walk, with some steep sections walking down into the valley and then up again.

We drove into the park on the dirt road but found there weren't many signposts or places of interest. There are better and more interesting parks in the area.

We walked along the Warren river from the campsite along to the lookout and on to the Bicentennial Tree. The path is well kept and is alongside some campsites at the beginning. The grade is not difficult and very peaceful. We had lunch at the tree where we saw a few people. We encountered no people on our walk as it was just after school holidays.

Having not done much research, the extent of the national parks in WA was a surprise - our bad! We visited Warren Natiknal park for one afternoon, having paid the park fee at Pemberon tourist information Centre. We found peace, solitude, well marked trails, clean forests and welcome shade.

Went to Warren National park to do the 10km walk and what a walk it was. The sky was overcast and threatened all day but we got lucky and only got rained on during the last 2km of our walk. This walk is one of the best. We headed off towards maiden bush ,walk can be done either way, and I think this was the best way. What a magnificent place maiden bush is, so tranquil and peaceful. The walk then meanders along the Warren River for about 3kms before heading back up to the lookout and then to the Dale Evans lookout tree. So glad we did this walk. Mostly well signed posted and toilets are plenty along the way for those in need.
