Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Spoke with a lady who was extremely helpful and gave us lots of tips of places to go that were dog friendly. The centre had ample forms and a nice atmosphere

Found this to be an excellent tourist information office, not only with regards Pemberton but on the entire Southwst of WA. The centre has a lot of room to display maps, photos, brochures and other information and very good use is made of this. I would also like to commend the lone woman on duty when we visited the centre on a Saturday afternoon. She was a terrific source of local info and made useful suggestions about how to best organise our local sightseeing plans. All up, extremely helpful

We had travelled to Pemberton to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary in May 2022. Having just ridden the Tram we were looking for a place to dine at that evening. The staff member was very helpful with places to visit & dine at. The centre also houses is small museum with log cutting equipment, statistics, photos & many other items of historical interest. The power operated saw, over 2.5m in length was interesting, trying to imagine holding this against a tree to fell it would have taken very fit & strong people. A small $1.00 donation is requested to enter for upkeep of the display. Worth the time. Allow more than 10 or 15 minutes for this display, you will not be disappointed.

Young lady that helped us knew her stuff!! Very knowledgeable, helpful, great recommendations. We did all that was recommended and very glad we did. Sorry I didn't get your name, we called in 9am Monday 31/1/22. Your Northcliffe/ Windy Harbour suggestion was brilliant.

We found ourselves at a bit of a loss about how to tackle our three days in Pemberton, as it was a last minute addition to our itinerary of SW WA. We visited the tourist information centre expecting to pick up a few brochures and be on our way; instead, we found an engaging, vivacious young women who could not have been more helpful. She inquired about our interests, highlighted some local sights, and planned our drive, complete with highlighted map, which we followed over the next 2 days. Various nature trails, waterfall sights, Big Brook Dam and beach (although the water was too cold for us Queenslanders to swim in), berry farms and eateries, and of course the Pemberton Tram. Individually, all these sights are unlikely to bring you to Pemberton, but together, they make up a varied itinerary for a few days. The vineyards looked enticing, although we had visited many in Denmark in the previous few days, and we were heading for Margaret River. There were no crowds (except the Tram which appeared fully booked for the 10.30 am trip on the Monday before Christmas), the roads uncrowded and the touring very relaxed. We had a delightful few days. We ate at the Source Cafe in the Main Street, and the Lavender and Berry Farm. Thanks to the helpful staff at the Tourist Information Centre we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Pemberton.

You can work out enough information in the surrounding area for reading material provided. They have a small showing if items on sale, like soaps, cards, tea towels etc.
