Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Upon looking for their site location on Google Map, I saw that this attraction is now permanently closed. I have just contacted Cowboy Up and they have confirmed that this has now closed permanently.

First...be warned..the place is not easy to find as there is no signage anywhere. Just follow the signs to Pemberton Chalet, for that's the place that hosts the Cowboy Uptrail Rides.
And we unfortunately took a wrong turn and went onto a mud trail and our car was stuck in mud and we could not get out. Had no choice but to call Cowboy Up Trail Rides, and lo and behold, our rescuer came, not surprisingly riding on a horse! I was wondering if a horse could pull our big size MPV out of the mud, fully loaded with our family of 8 people. But our rescuer talked my husband into manoeuvring to a favourable position to attempt to bring our car out of the mud. But city dwellers like us, had neither the skill nor the tenacity. Finally our rescuer took over the wheels and got us out just like that. My husband did a good job walking the horse. :)
Despite the drama, Cowboy still gave us more than a full hour of wonderful riding experience. My 7-year-old boy was led by one experienced rider, and I was led by Mira, the lady whom I called multiple times to save us. They had our rescuer round up my husband and my 3 other boys who could handle the horses themselves. I could see that we were in safe hands, as they make sure we were well taken care of. I could sense that Mira had her eyes on my boys to make sure they could handle the horses.
We were so surprised that the horse were really well trained and well groomed. They were easy to handle as even my 11-year-old who had never been on a horse before, could manage and reign in the horse confidently.
We were so motivated and enjoyed the ride so much that we booked them for another hour to next day for our 3 older boys. Mira told us she would arrange a different route, where they could let the horses gallop little since they were so handling the horses so confidently. Sadly and to much disappointment, they had a little accident the next day and one of their people were injured and had to cancel our booking. Nevertheless, the horse ride we had were a great memory for us. Hope the injured person is well now and they can take more people onto such great rides.
And not to forget, the rides is hosted at the Pemberton Chalets, where they had a great big shed with toys, table soccers, and animal corners (birds, rabbits, guinea pigs and even kangaroos.) So it was a fun place for my 2-year-old who had to wait for our rides to be over. And Mira was very nice to let her ride on the horse for a short stretch along the driveway.

Myra took us out along the beautiful forest track on two lovely horses.... It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed it immensely.
We had not ridden for many years so it was nice to get back on.

This was a fantastic experience. The horses were well cared for and the owners were helpful. It was a wonderful trail ride through forest and countryside. I would thoroughly recommend it to both beginner riders and experienced riders. One of the best family activities we have done.

A wonderful 1 hour trail ride through the forrest. I took my daughter of 9 and we had a friends 7 year old boy, all in good safe hands on lovely calm horses. I had ridiing experience so was allowed the choice of having a canter and trott whenever I wanted. Great for all levels of riders.

My partner and I saw the flyer at a bakery and decided to give horse riding a go.
As we got there, I started to get really nervous as it was my first time up close to a horse.
The owners made us feel extremely comfortable and the thing that pushed me to get on the horse was the fact that the money was going to a good cause, saved racing horses.
It was such a beautiful experience, so calming and relaxing riding through the forestries with good conversations.
These guys are doing something really good for mistreated horses so if you're in Pemberton and looking for something to do, we highly recommend that you give this a try!
Thank you for making this experience incredible for me and my partner, We will definitely be back (:
