Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great place to relax and linger. Is currently being expanded and by 2025 there is a construction fence on the entire green area. But you can walk along the water. It's not so nice there at the moment, but when the work is finished, it will certainly be much nicer.

My family used to holiday in Mandurah every year for two weeks in the 1960s and we used to have a great time. How things have changed since then, though. The foreshore I remember well from the fish and chips to the metal slides that burnt your legs to the shallow, shallow water suited to we non-swimmers.
The trees are still there (larger now) and the estuary is still there but what is new is the fantastic looking playground and the even better boardwalk. It's a fantastic place to wander and, judging by the number of people perambulating when we were there, we're not alone in thinking it's a great place to visit.

Walking along this well kept esplanade, people from all walks of life, age groups, disabilities etc are able to enjoy all the beauty of the waterways that Mandurah has to offer. It's a safe, enjoyable place to take the family and at weekends you can enjoy market stalls, busking musicians and a wide variety of nearby cafes and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of this scenic spot.

I've got mixed feelings about this area. It's always been enjoyable to have a stroll here or just sit on the grass or at a picnic table and enjoy a snack and the views over the water. The area has been much developed over the years, improved in some sections but to me has lost the appeal of when it was less developed. Some good facilities for the young ones and yet more construction/redevelopment work underway. Probably have to visit in summer months to see it at it's best.

What a lovely place to walk around, with shade and play areas for children. Pubs and Restaurants close by and Cafes and Toilets. Good for wheelchairs. Elizabeth Quay in Perth has hardly and shade

It's really easy to entertain the grandkids at the Foreshore.
They really had fun in the playground.
A trip in the little train was very well received.

The Eastern Foreshore Park in Mandurah is a perfect place for a picnic with lovely views of Mandurah and the waterways.
We saw many dolphins frolicking in the estuary.

Hi, I read a remark on Google that the playground is permanently closed. Anyone can kindly help to confirm that?

Would you be allowed to put up a marquee for shade for a picnic?
Written 13 February 2019
There is heaps of shade but dependant on size you would possibly need to check with the Mandurah shire.
