We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Everyone, needs to visit this little museum, amazing, rich local history. Staff are enthusiastic and are happy to chat and answer questions. Learning others history (stories) is priceless ♡

This museum is located just beside the old Mandurah wooden bridge. It looks small from the outside, but is like a 'Tardis'.... it is bigger on the inside.
There is a lot of history of the Peel region here, the friendly & knowledgeable staff are on hand to show you the exhibits.
Some of the attractions are: the prison cells, megamouth shark, historic photos, indigenous heritage, shipwreck stories, dairymple schoolroom...the whole schoolroom, that has a video running & you can even sit down & write with a real ink pen....I did and ended up with ink all over my hands....lol. They have holiday programs, tours & activities to share in....great for kids.
There is a fully restored Essex Super 6 on display as well.
It is free entry (bonus). Its run by volunteers & there are some small souveniers that you can buy.....they have a donation box, put something in it as they use the funds to constantly upgrade.
All in all a cool way to spend an hour or two & learn a bit about the Peel region.

Could have easily missed this great find in Mandurah.

I arranged the free 1hr heritage walk in Mandurah that happens to meet at the Mandurah Community Museum. I met a guy called Michael and he completed the walk around town with me showing me places of interest and the history of Mandurah. It was very informative and was glad I went on it.

Once the tour had finished we headed back to the Museum where Michael showed me around and then left me to look round. There was plenty to take in and made me appreciate the history of Mandurah over the next few weeks whilst I was there.

All the staff in the museum were friendly and informative. The Museum and the walking tour were all free of charge, however I would recommend leaving a donation as there is opportunity to do so but no pressure to.

Make sure you visit and take in the heritage.

For a short and simple trip to a small scale museum, it was mind-blowing. The place was well designed with kids in mind. The kids could interact with certain items. You don't normally find "Please Touch" signs in a museum.

A good place to know the history of Mandurah and the people who helped built the town. It became more meaningful when one walks along the named streets.

No mind blowing exhibits here but an interesting local history from the traditional owners through the settlers and fishermen/ crabbers to modern holidaymakers and residents.

its easy to pass this museum by which is a great shame. Run by volunteers they have put together a great display and we could have spent hours sitting and reading all the stories of Mandurah figures of bygone days and looking at the photos.

Took some overseas visitors to this museum recently. One of the best community museums I've seen, with well organised exhibits, presented in an interesting and engaging way.

Had to check this out during the 100th year since Gallipoli, what a lot of work they have put in to this exhibition. Some of the military gear I have never seen before. There is also lots of childrens work being displayed, the schools around Mandurah must have really got behind this project.
This museum is a small one, contained in a series of small rooms but they have managed to fit loads of memorabilia in.

It's a small museum showing the history of Mandurah and the surrounding areas. I have been here several times and it seems to change a little each time. This time I spent some time in the Local Studies area researching family.
The volunteers were very helpful and the area for research has been set up with comfort in mind. Was glad to have popped in once again. Keep up the good work.
