Hello FayeAJDee. Indeed we did not have enough passengers to run our Dolphin Island Adventure, which has dolphins guaranteed. It was uneconomic to run - we didn’t refuse to run it, simply we would have lost money if we had and given it was clear on terms and conditions this minimum applied, and after the devastating effects of Covid on the tourism industry we could not afford to run at a loss. You were offered, in advance, a full refund or to rebook on our much cheaper Dolphin and Scenic Marine cruise which has many things on it to entertain guests but cannot guarantee dolphins, and we explicitly say this, nor do we claim to go into the ocean? I’m sorry you were disappointed the wild dolphins were not sighted on this cruise, and perhaps with hindsight it may have been better to take a refund.
