very good value tour..seeing the dolphins swimming along side the boat was great. also getting an appreciation of how large the wetlands area was ..very educational

This is the second time we have done this cruise and although we only saw one Dolphin last time, this time we saw a pod of 6 Dolphins. Captain Scot kept us there long enough for the passengers on both sides to have a first class view. Staff we excellent with a very good commentry by the girls. Scot went overboard with his safety lecture and made some people a little worried especially if you were in a wheel chair

The day was great. The food was excellent and the staff where great.

A nice view of the area and the houses. Dolphins are hits and misses but we were really fortunate to see them unclose at the end!

We had a marvelous day on the estuary and on the river with an exceptional crew! They took great care of all of the passengers and they provided excellent service all day. The lunch was also very good quality. King prawns, BBQ chicken, salads and more. There was also a cheese and meat platter served at morning tea time and pavlova and chocolate brownies for dessert. In addition, bar prices were more than reasonable with $9 beers and Margaret River wines around $30 per bottle. Our day was topped off by a pod of friendly dolphins that surfed our bow waves for about 20 minutes as we left the Murray and re-entered the estuary. That was awesome!

This cruise was a 77th birthday gift from my daughter and son-in-law. Everything was perfect just as advertised. Staff were sooooo good, young lady comontating told us lots about the area and the indiginous people who lived there. The young lady who took us around "Coopers Mill" was brilliaant too. The Captain gave us updates on the areas too, especially on the canal houses as we approached the end of our wonderful four hours. Food was lovely and the selecion of beers was great, plus wine and soft drinks,, free cold water. All the people on the top deck were really nice, four of us were ther for our birthday , great atmosphere. Than you for a wonderful day.

A lovely trip along Mandrah's waterways. Great commentary and a good price. We thought we weren't going to see the dolphin, but 6 turned up, right near the end of the cruise. Take advantage of the San Churro 2 for 1 offer for cruise passengers after the cruise was finished. Yum!

Had a good 75 minutes of peaceful cruise in the estuary of Mandurah. I went on the 11:30 am trip. The boat was full. Luckily the weather during the trip was very good although there was rain in the morning.

We are a family group from Singapore with 3 young grandkids on toll. The kids were super excited about this cruise and we were not disappointed..beautiful views and houses along the canal and we spotted quite a nos of dolphins swimming up close and even along with our cruise ship. Children were happy and this was a most memorable trip they had for our 6 days holiday in perth

Hello Hanim,
Thank you for your query and you do ask a valid question.
We have over 80 dolphins that live in the inland waterways which do not migrate over winter therefore are here all year round. We generally cruise with our fully enclosed vessel during Winter and is just as enjoyable as the Summer and we have hot tea and coffee available on board.
The dolphins are not affected by the weather and are just as active during Winter as they are in Summer.

Hello,
The local bottlenose dolphins reside in the estuary and waterways all year round therefore don't migrate out of Mandurah. As we can not guarantee seeing them on all of our tours, we do have a 93% success rate and there are many new baby dolphins being born this year so far.

You can park in the Dome car park or along Mandurah Tce. Also you could park behind the cinema or performing arts centre.

Hi, just wondering when the locals start taking down their Christmas lights in January and is the cruise to see them still as spectacular mid January as it is in December?

Hi Daniel, Yes our Christmas Lights Cruise is just as spectacular in January as December. The lights are all still up and we have had glorious weather for it! We do offer discounted tickets for the final week 9th to 14th Jan as a few of the lights start to come down. Regards, Mandurah Cruises

Hi Dianne137, While you can purchase your tickets on the day for our Dolphin & Scenic Canal Cruises we recommend pre booking for our as they can book up very fast on the day. All of our other cruises including Christmas Lights, Sundowner, Murray River etc must be pre booked. Regards, Mandurah Cruises.
